Not even paid institutes will teach with such clarity. A simple thank you will not suffice. 1:40 hrs of in depth content totally for free. You're a GEM Gowtham bro. 💎
Watching from university of East London, UK. Really u r amazing Anna. Am studying big data and cloud computing. Here unable to understand. But ur vedio made it clarity
You earned a sub. This is one of the best explanations so far. I am at the 1 hour mark and have understood everything. Mind you, I don’t even have a CS background.
This is my first video watching accrose 1 hour, but It was very helpfull for my carrier.and finally I'm really Surprise about your involvement .thank you
thank you so much bro.wonderful.i been assigned in big data project for the first time.i dont even know where to start.this video really gave me a hope.thank you so much

Goutham, can you pls confirm whether my summary is correct or not. ?? Active name node & passive name nodes are the master nodes. Data nodes are the slave nodes. Secondary name node is the dummy node which will be useful incase of slave failure. Zookeeper node will be useful for monitoring the status of ANN & PNN. All the Metadata prepared by master node will placed in journal node for ANN & PNN to access.

Hi bro, I have one doubt How the company's have stored data in hadoop by using ETL or any other tools? if it is ETL means what tool mostly used? In My Current company I am using informatica power center now i would like to switch on big data.
what an excellent explanation man. I have watched your video fully .It is very useful to learn many things about the hdfs. thanks a lot for this video. Iam now watching all the videos which is related to big data in your channel to gain more knowledge about this.
Excellent Explanation sir... Sir i have an doubt.. what is the difference between blocks and input splits. In this video, there was an example that 1 GB of file divided into 128 MB and it creates 8 blocks and stored in multiple nodes. In real time, can we customize the blocks like 2 input split(Mappers)? as per above sample 1 GB file is divided into 2 and it stored two data node as per Name Node advise. I may right sir....
Hi , Block are physical in HDFS and Splits are virtual in MR , 8 block we can have 4 or 2 or etc.. Splits , i.e. for 8 blocks we can have 4 mappers or 2 mappers by changing the split size in MR. Will make a separate video for input splits .
Bro first you said slave node won't communicate with each other but after you are saying data will transfer through pipeline between slave node. Can you clarify that?
Hi bro, one doubt.. How they take replicate the data is there any fixed count, example b0 will store in only 3 machines or more than 3 machine how we came to know that
Hi Bro, Initially you said there wont be any communication between each slaves nodes. But you are saying the communication will happen between slaves thru client API for writing the data based on metadata. I did not understand this part. Please help me on this. Thank you
It's a point , I forget to mention in the video , there is 2 types of communication ,the communication that hpnds here is pipeline communication and only the respective. Blocks will be transfered , other than that there won't be anyother general communication will not hpn
@@dataengineeringvideos understood bro. Thank you for the clear explanation and sharing your knowledge. Keep doing well and all the very best for your career as well as youtuber 👍👍👏👏
hello bro, Replica configuration cannot be 0 at least we should have 2, if I am thinking correctly, please confirm? 54:30 As I've noticed the earlier have mentioned slaves can't talk each other, now in 1:05:54 there you mention using the pipeline you can connect and share the Blocks to the other slaves. Bit confusing.
Bro really a nice explanation about hdfs. I appreciate your hardwork and learning ability. Hope I can learn a lot from you. By the way can I have a video regarding map reduce with yarn? I searched but couldn't get that. I really need that bro
Hi Bro,,,, I have one about for this HDFS concept....we have DFS concept in windows server itself ...it is also providing the same replica concept and providing the distributed file system ....what is the new difference over this....could you please tell me that?
Most of the DFS file systems are same as HDFS but Hadoop has many advantages one important thing is it's open source (free) but DFS in windows is paid one

Bro, What if the journal node fails, how will the ANN and PNN will get the meta data?
After write operation in the data node will the replicated node be updated again bro. (By the by awesome video bro)
Helpful content, thanks anna✌️

How to make the interconnection between edge node and the hadoop cluster?
Great content :)

Please give the difference between Hadoop1 and Hadoop 2
should we need to install hadoop package in edge node to access cluster
