Just FYI - lamps are usually very easy to re-wire. If I can do it, I know you can. :) Amazon sells the kits, and you can probably find them at hardware stores. Anyway, just keep that in mind if it happens to you again.

Love the copper tray. I like the idea of using it for layering. I'd probably use it on my entry table to drop keys, sunglasses, etc.

Nice items you got.
The heavy looking tong you were wondering what it was.You put a tomatoe or onion in the tongs and use it to slice.using a knife. Hope that explained ot right.

I do wish our charity stores were as good as yours here in uk each charity has separate shop homeware probably on couple shelves so you have to visit so many before you actually find anything

You got some awesome items. I haven't made it to red white and blue yet. I'd probably style the copper item propped up on a shelf because I don't have alot of counter space.

Great thrift finds! I would probably not put vinegar on the copper tray because I'm not sure if the acidity would cause it to get tarnish rings? I'm sure you'll find a great use for it!
That’s a good point!! It would polish it. I sometimes use vinegar to polish my copper when I get around to it

The bulb on the little lamp is way big. It will probably fit under a cabinet better with a smaller bulb.
