He's a nice buck, it amazes me how they can carry a shot like that, I use a 270 as well and I've had the buggers run a fair way, shot right through lung's where the same shot would drop a boar in its tracks.

Try a Nosler Partition 130 gr and the buck will never run! Boars usually have a lot of caked on dirt on their skin which would facilitate the start of bullet fragmentation, but with a deer heavy bullets will not expand and go right through the animal. I never lost a sambar or red with partition bullets!
