Nice video are you in NZ ? South Island ?. I like to shoot PD here in the states. I have a Win70 in .223 my favorite bullet is Sierria 55gr HPBT bullet. Lived in Auckland 1970 for 6 months . NZ is the best kept secret in the world. Retired 21/2 yrs ago must go back.

I had 222 remington bolt action. Savage 340 D i took everything from whitetails to rabbits whitetais at 100yds neck shot javelinas neck or head shots even rabbits got it in the head cleaner and more usuable meat id still like to get another one someday

Simply amazing , well done. I’ve managed to hit one at 395m with a 22/250 but only using a 12 x scope so I know how hard extreme long range rabbit sniping can be.

Hi there - excellent shooting with my favourite medium range small game cartridge. I use a Tikka M55 purchased in 1984 (yes last century) for rabbit and fox shooting, I shot over a thousand rabbits with it then had a new stainless Krieger barrel fitted and it shoots better than ever. 50gn Vmax pushed by 23gn 2206H is a fantastic load as are the Waters rifleman Aussie made aluminium magazines for these rifles. That is great shooting at bunnies out to 300m - well done!

He's a nice buck, it amazes me how they can carry a shot like that, I use a 270 as well and I've had the buggers run a fair way, shot right through lung's where the same shot would drop a boar in its tracks.
