I love how Orianthi completes a sentence with a riff.
I'd enjoy this more if reverb kept their seller fee at 3.5% instead of 5% and if they kept PayPal payments. 😉🙄
100% spot on....
Not Joe's fault.
@@morganghetti but this is a Reverb.com video....
@@morganghetti It's reverb's channel.
Excellent video! What a fun series! I’m getting in on it. Thank you for sharing it with us!
Maybe I'm an oddball but what does Joe's warm-up look like?
Love this is becoming a series! Great job. Please do one with Philip Sayce. I've watched him warm up before a show and it was AMAZING! He clearly was focused on right hand work, then left, rhythm, licks, etc. Really cool. Another suggestion is Eric Gales. Thanks so much!!!
+1 for Philip Sayce and Eric Gales! Throw Ariel Posen and Joey Landreth in there too
Neighbors: ....not again...
It's all about the practice. Cool video, good job!
I think you summed things up at 3:54....
She is, "some form of lighning!" And, of course, getting warmed up with SRV can't hurt either. Outstanding vid!
Красивая учитель музыки
Andy: I play without a pick
Orianthi: Hold my beer...
Orianthi: "The blood of my fingertips."
ehhhhhhhhhhhhhhh meh
I’m really happy about this series. I really appreciate when people are gracious and share their skills. She’s a killer guitar player.
Massage therapist and musician here, it helps immensely to get someone to work on your hands at least every month or so with the wear and tear on the hands from overplay. I see a lot of professionals complain about this and it's something that can be worked with for sure.
This is a great series. I hope you can do more episodes with more guitarists. It's really useful!
Not gonna lie, the start of the second warmup at 4:42 weirdly reminded me of The Mars Volta
really loving this series Joe!
This is so awesome, just yesterday I literally was like, I wonder what Orianthi is up too!!!!
New album November
cliff jones lesson to be learned
U.T.

I really like these warmups. Just shred around for a while
Seven days of coke and jack then?

Best thing about this is the Philm shirt...
Dude looks like Kyle Moody kinda
This is a really good series. Please keep doing them.
Recoginizing medicority.
No pick?! Haha god damn!
Orianthi crush forever
Oh cool, is there a "bağlama" on the wall ?? @11:49
Sure is! I picked that up while in Istanbul last year :)
😡 Wrong, wrong, very wrong. Do us a favor and ... dedicate yourself to something else. 🤮
Excellent series

Thanks for making this video. -Really enjoyed your presentation and personality.
Suggestion for this series would be Matt Heafy of Trivium, the dude is insanely disciplined

DEBUSSY! Ravel!
Good to see you Joe
What's that bass in the background? Looks gorgeous!
Joachim Ekermann idk exact name but it’s a fender Coronado bass
that's my Fender Coronado. Love it!
Orianthi is a super awesome guitarist! I learned a lot of similar guitar warmup riffs from my past guitar teachers that really help build my chops.
The Guitar Ms Orianthi is playing in this video is a new, at the time, 2019 (or 2020) GIBSON USA FLYING 'V' '70's TRIBUTE.....and it FUCKIN RIPS !!! I bought one of them because of this video, and it is up there with the best GIBSON USA -Line Guitars I have ever played ! In fact, the one I got blows away almost all of the USA-Line GIBSON's I have ever played ! Mine is completely BAD-A$$ and Orianthi's is too !! I have Left mine 100% Stock and I'm hoping to get another one! So I will have one to beat the crap put of on a daily basis............and one to store away for my Grandkids ! It is a GREAT GUITAR ! FLYING 'V's w/Neck Bindings are usually CUSTOM's....not this one........
She's the best!!!🔥🔥🤘🏻🎸
Joe reminds me of a mix of Michael Angarano and Joseph Gordon-Levitt. That is in no way a derrogatory comment. It was just driving me crazy that he reminded me of someone. So it just dawned on me. He knows his way around the fretboard quite well. Has his theory down. Good Teacher. Now Orianthi, I really appreciate people that can finger pick like an actual Classical Guitarist. She has it all. Literally. Easy on the eyes she is. Goddess comes to mind.
cant you tab it
she's a horrible player
Ab Fab Joanne Lumley rocks that V!
