One of my favourite albums of all time, criminally underrated and full of absolute bangers, still sounds fresh today as it did 30 years ago, I miss the 90s lol
This was one of my first albulms I bought as a 14 year old back in the day what a class albulm this is .. Bobby and the scream made a beautiful albulm ‘cry myself blind’ surely one of the greatest blues tunes of all time .. so many great memories flood back when I listen to this
Superb, and really loved that Sad `n Blue Throb story (the Memphis restored guitar/harp solo is sooo damn pretty). That harp is real raucous and it was a wise choice to use it.
Should have done a deep dive on the release of the original version. I went on the original Screamadelica tour, many times, ending up at Glastonbury. Great times and the tour for this album was great too.
I didn't know if loving you is wrong I dont want to be right wasn't a Millie Jackson song. It fits so well on that album. The list of thanks just keeps getting longer.
I remember a joint interview Bobby did Jay from Spiritualised for a music mag years ago and I think he said he didn't like the album because his attitude was wrong at the time, but he didn't elaborate on what he meant
I could listen to Bobby Gillespie all day, I would never interrupt him either.
Appalling interviewer!
@@jamesypoo1980 no, the interviewer's fine and knows his stuff.
@@jamesypoo1980 Completely agree! Shut up and let him speak!
Jurgen Klopp and Bobby Gillespie! What a great combo
This was their most well rounded album. Some of the best musicians in the 🌎 played on. Big 🌟 would be proud to have done this LP.

Jimmy miller produced motorhead in the Roundhouse studio when it was owned by Bronze Records

Bobby Gillespie - champion and legend.
there's a universe that stands between screamadelica and give out and then vanishing point. a band that very much plays it the way they feel it.
Bless Bobby's heart ❤
Bobby's laugh can cure cancer.

Give out comes from the same band that made their 2nd LP❤
It was a blues album really.. they lost their way.. they went back to what they knew on this one... they came back to their best on Xterminator
Sound nothing like the stones🙈🤭love this album
I thought this was a great album what happened to it ? it hardly got any airplay.. pity
Good album but certainly not their best.
Yes agree, it's good but Screamadelica, Vanishing Point & Xtrmntr are all better.
