How does it feel To sell me your TV When I've laid my hands on it And I bought it at low price I thought I was mistaken I thought I should buy one more Tell me how do I feel Tell me now how do I feel Those who came before me Bought PS4 without tension From this store to play on vacation They will come here for some more And I still find it so hard To watch all this TV shows But I'm quite sure that you'd tell me Just what I should watch today
3. I'll go as far as saying what they managed to do with digital synths in the 80's was truly astounding, especially at its price point for consumers. Today we have soft synths that sound just as good as their hardware counterparts, but back then, pc's were far behind the power of the synths of the day. Hell, i used to sequence on a 286 and it was impossible to get decent timing. The synths, on the other hand, were very reliable. The d10 and emax have a strong place in music history.
Yes, I have to say that the sequenced drums are coming frmo Reason redrum. Live drums are coming from the D10. Sadly I haven't midi trigger pads :( Thanks for watching.
Altough I usually don't give explanation about my work, I can tell I have my own material. But I am not interested (by now) on uploading it here. I like to have fun covering my fav songs for UA-cam. Some people seems to be a little bit upset because I play famous songs but in my way. Thanks for comments! DX5
you are GOOOOOD on keyboards and synthesizers.... DANG, I wish I could do all that, the sampling and everything :-) Great job, keep it up, I visit your YT channel regularly :-)
Dicken, Hook, Morris, Cunningham, & Gilbert must be proud of your version at one of their finest tracks! You seem to always out-do-yourself, always setting that proverbial bar that much higher; that is what I like to see in an artist/DJ. Even in raw form (no final production due until retail), I give this piece a $19.75/$20.00 (which in my books is an extremely high rating). Keep up the FANTASTIC work my friend!!! Respects, DJ MARCUS Van STEUR 3:6:T RECORDS Inc. [CDN,US,UK,NL]
@Too Wun I lived thur it all too. It has much more variety then most other time, was least commercial big studio production. By mid 90's music became big studio productions and hardly any little guys anymore. then the 00's where computers did what synthesizers did in the 80's did and you had another boom but musically none of this newer stuff is original...similar to movies today. MTV back in 80's was much better then any other time after...they don't even play music vidoes anymore for almost two decades now.
@Too Wun that was only one type of genre, In the 80s I'd listened to some modern rock, new wave, pop rock. Didn't like the metal big hair glam rock at the time and still don't. But what I was really into was in the late 80s Hardcore Rap, before it was called "gangsta rap" by the media. I remember as a teen buying music then TipperGore got the music industry to start labeling "Explicit Lyrics" on albums and the whole censorship movement. Ice-T, NWA, TooShort, TwoLiveCrew were my favorites...wasn't much fan of East Coast Rap.
@Too Wun No the Demoncrats and their Marxist ideology did that with their welfare to encourage single moms, separate dads. Art is a reflection of life, of what they know/see, of the anger within that community. Family break ups started to increase in the 60's from commie hippies and feminist cancer that has spread far and wide.
quite superb stuff there DX5 - you are a talented musician and it is nice to see such great original tunes being re-created with a touch of difference and yet still holding the essence of what originally made them all so great in the day of true great tunes
Hi warp. Thanks for all your comments!. I was checking the SIMMONS SDS 8 this afternoon. It sounds amazing. I just only have two triggering pads. I will use them as Peter Hook used to do and will upload a new cover soon. Best.. DX5
Gracias. Hay una versión actualizada que es menos improvisada y más elaborada en sonidos ua-cam.com/video/b_ZOH1U7AGw/v-deo.html . Un abrazo desde España
They were a full band, and very talented, of course being a British pop band in the 80's! Peter Hook, was their famous bass guitar player, with that peculiar bass sounds, unlike most bass guitar sounds. He also, played most of the bass guitar solos as well. Gillian Gibbards played the synthesizers, and keyboard programming, also as well as the front man, Bernard Sumner. One of the 80's best Pop bands, Next to Depeche mode in my opinion!
@maryamchijan I haven't plans of it by the moment, but thanks for your interest. Anyway there will be news at the end of the year. Not exactly what you want, but something related
@1980MF1980 Of course, a real Voyetra Eight or SCI Prophet 5 would be pretty much better , but they are really expensive on the second hand market. Anyway, the D10 and the Emax are from 1985-86 approx. The emax even has analog SSM filters (as Polysix) and a VCA for the output. Anyway, not VCO's here.
Tyrone Jones Good point. I don't want to speak for the original poster, but I believe that he was referring to the fact that popular music used to have more character, and more of an original quality to it, unlike alot of the more generic popular music of modern times.
Nobody uses "real" synthesizers anymore (pardon the essential irony of that statement). It's all computer-based, plug-in-this, sampled-that stuff, done wholly inside a computer. Not a patch-cord in sight... "lifeless".
Chip Tredo considering how scarce a lot of the classic synthesizers are nowadays, can you blame them? A lot of them have pretty faithful VST emulations that would fool a lot of people.
actually this track was done using a sci prophet 5, a moog source on bass, the strings and gregorian choir samples were from the emulator library sound disks, oh and oberheim dmx on drums
Updated "Blue Monday" Wonder Woman 84 OST arrangement version of mine here: ua-cam.com/video/b_ZOH1U7AGw/v-deo.html

Does tapping my foot count, guy from five years ago?
I didn’t know I was a zombie. I don’t like this version, and I wasn’t moving...
I once listened to Blue Monday on Black Friday :) how does it feel........??
tell me now, how does it feel!
Those who came before me lived through their vocations Vitor Furlanetti
Vitor Furlanetti
:) could not resist
How does it feel
To sell me your TV
When I've laid my hands on it
And I bought it at low price
I thought I was mistaken
I thought I should buy one more
Tell me how do I feel
Tell me now how do I feel
Those who came before me
Bought PS4 without tension
From this store to play on vacation
They will come here for some more
And I still find it so hard
To watch all this TV shows
But I'm quite sure that you'd tell me
Just what I should watch today

Verdade, um ótimo trabalho 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
wow !!! 80 bit´s ! great !!!!
One of my favorite New Order songs!!! AWESOME!!
So good
Total respect on this, real good. Just need Bernard in there with you to complete the song.
Boy 80’s music was so syncopated and simple.
the synthesizer was what made 80's music. It made it possible for folks to make music on a budget. That was why there was an explosion of "bands".
@Too Wun 80's had the best and most variety of music.

That was dope!!
I started dancing to this just now!
Great job. I still love this song.
great job! very talented!
A great version !
I was completely unaware this was a full on pure synthesizer song. I always figured they had a guitarist and bassist in this song.
Well they originally used guitars , appart from synthesizers :)
They mix it up, I've seen Hooky play this live
joy division members
They had a bass, Bernard added a guitar in '88 but not the original
They were a full band, and very talented, of course being a British pop band in the 80's!
