Now we listen to The Mob. They began in Jackson Heights, Queens as a Van Halen style cover band, but that all changed when they saw Bad Brains. Their first gig was actually opening for Bad Brains on June 5, 1981 at the BC club. On December 18, 1982 they played an all ages matinee with Minor Threat and Urban Waste at CBGB's for $3 admission.
