If there ever was one single song which captures perfectly and completely the angst, meloncholy, and rage of growing up in a post-industrial society where farms and forests have been replaced by factories and skyscrapers and where a man's worth is measured not by intelligence and compassion but, rather, by profit and portfolio, this is it. I remember listening to this amazing album when it first came out while I was a senior in high school, and when this song began I was totally transfixed, from beginning to end. It's so incredibly raw and intimate, and yet with a power that cuts through all the modern work-buy-consume-die bullshit like a rusty but efficient buzzsaw. And, disturbingly enough, with banks and multi-national corporations now ruling the entire globe with an iron fist, this song cuts deeper than ever before.
I dont mean to be offtopic but does any of you know of a way to log back into an Instagram account? I somehow forgot the login password. I would love any help you can offer me.
@Elias Killian I really appreciate your reply. I found the site through google and I'm in the hacking process now. Seems to take a while so I will get back to you later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
@Elias Killian WTF IT ACTUALLY WORKED! I literally got access to my ig password after ~ 40 minutes by using the site. Just had to pay 15 bucks but for sure worth it =) Thanks so much, you saved my ass !
I followed Blyth power around a lot, played a good few games of yahtzee with josef porter, real nice bloke. Can't believe he's only 14 playin drums on this.
i love this song, great musicians, was so happey 2 hear Mark and the Mob had re-formed and played concerts last year, still just as good as thay allways were..
For ALL children...and all who remain invisible...this one's for US! May OUR flame burn eternal. Into darkness and finally OUT of the butcher's clutches...WE WILL find a way!✊🔥
best song of the whole anarcho movement. Lots of other bands with great songs, and i've heard most all the early UK anarcho punk scene and this is by far my favorite song.
BRRIIILLLLIIIAAnnTTTT. Sitting round a camp fire at Stonehenge waiting for the Mob to play. They never turned up as Marks wife was having a baby. Just one in a long line of failed attempts to see the Mob. Finally got to see them at the Fulham Greyhound, 'Phew' it might have even been their last gig.

I saw them at fulham greyhound too. I also had a failed attempt to see them at acklam hall when they were a no show. no idea how/why as it was pre-internet, like a shot in the dark
was that time we discover the dd2 and the flanger, all that suff used to form sounds. but all this english punks used that miles ahead. nice to be here. h.m.
I went to buy this album, but these guys do not release their albums here in India. Okay, got back home now and tried to download a pirated version. I couldn't find one source which housed this fucking song. I downloaded the UA-cam video and extracted the mp3. What are you gonna do about it? Fuck all. My life my world.
Our life our world mapped out in scars Carved in wrists and back of arms Which paint in blood on sheets of white Of children never quite at home Our life our world flows down rivers in the street Made up of blood, made up of meat Cigarette burns in tortured arms Cigarette burns on tortured arm Slowly roasting in the heat of... Our life our world Our life our world My life my world Our life our world Our life our world Lost scream hits the cold night air Lost scream lost 'cause no one was there This is the crying of half dead This is the crying of stillborn This is the sound of the golden age This is the sound of my rage Our life our world Our life our world My life my world Our life our world This is my horror, my nightmare This is my waking, my birth This is my world and my earth This is my earth and my world This is my life and my worth This is my moment of birth This is my crawling from chaos Now I have risen from ash This is the glimmer of hope This is the wall I must smash Our life our world My life my world Our life our world Our life our world My life my world Our life our world My life my world Our life our world I'm alive, frozen, futile You're not alive but, you're warm You haven't suffered no nightmares And you cannot spell harm This is my love now And this is my war Do not suffer my children Let them walk through that door This is my nightmare Built from your hell on earth Do not damage my children They are their love on earth Leave my world for my children They didn't ask to be born Leave my love for my children And let them be warm

@Phillip Simon You are welcome :)
You don't gotta be a punker for these songs to speak to your soul. Most people want a better world without war and pollution
Seen these back in early 1980's , great band 👍

I blast out d-beat crustpunk & grindcore pretty much 24/7 but THE MOB are universal. This band are so important to me.

No Gods, No Masters tho
and Politicians in My Eyes
Matter of personal preference I guess, I think Zounds and Poison girls for instance are much better.
Awesomeness. 😎

My life my world.
Nitin krishna Padindala what are u doing in india ?
it's on spotify.
please put the lyrics...I don't understand everything :
Our life our world mapped out in scars
Carved in wrists and back of arms
Which paint in blood on sheets of white
Of children never quite at home
Our life our world flows down rivers in the street
Made up of blood, made up of meat
Cigarette burns in tortured arms
Cigarette burns on tortured arm
Slowly roasting in the heat of...
Our life our world
Our life our world
My life my world
Our life our world
Our life our world
Lost scream hits the cold night air
Lost scream lost 'cause no one was there
This is the crying of half dead
This is the crying of stillborn
This is the sound of the golden age
This is the sound of my rage
Our life our world
Our life our world
My life my world
Our life our world
This is my horror, my nightmare
This is my waking, my birth
This is my world and my earth
This is my earth and my world
This is my life and my worth
This is my moment of birth
This is my crawling from chaos
Now I have risen from ash
This is the glimmer of hope
This is the wall I must smash
Our life our world
My life my world
Our life our world
Our life our world
My life my world
Our life our world
My life my world
Our life our world
I'm alive, frozen, futile
You're not alive but, you're warm
You haven't suffered no nightmares
And you cannot spell harm
This is my love now
And this is my war
Do not suffer my children
Let them walk through that door
This is my nightmare
Built from your hell on earth
Do not damage my children
They are their love on earth
Leave my world for my children
They didn't ask to be born
Leave my love for my children
And let them be warm
