I’ve been a WHO fan for 48 years. I’ve seen them live many times. The performance they gave that night in NYC was one of the greatest shows they ever gave. The joy they infused into that crowd and city that night under those circumstances was simply magical.

That was some performance, they owned that gig. Hairs on the back of my neck still stand up watching that gig. They did everyone proud.

That 9/11 gig they did was absolutely mindblowing. It relaunched them again.

Not only were they Headliners like Paul McCartney but they were possibly the most anticipated band of the entire event I watched it on TV and it was hard really hard do not cry and I had a lump in my throat but I felt absolutely electric their performance was unbelievable they whipped up the First Responders and their kids there's close-ups I can understand how Roger Daltrey felt

When I saw the pent up emotions being released from the N.Y. fire fighters through The Who performing Won't get fooled again , with that sentiment and those lyrics , at that time , it was like that song , for that one performance was the national anthem of the USA.........And that performance made me proud of them............God knows what it must have been like performing YOUR songs and getting that reaction???
