  • Kenya's openness was confirmed as far back in 1991 when the country constructed one of the largest refugee complexes in the world. Since then, Kenya has continued to show that it doesn't matter where you come from. Whether you are black or white, South Africa, Nigerian, or African American. your freedom aspire and be successful is assured. The Kenya people in this regards are some of the most welcoming and peaceful people in the world.
Whether you are South Africa, Nigerian, or African American. Whether you come from Rwanda, Ghana or anywhere. The sky is the limit to what you can achieve in Kenya. What's more profound is how Kenya has not only welcomed millions of migrants and refugees from troubled regions in Somali, Kenya has actually enabled the Somali communities in the country to grow and become successful. Want to know what else make Kenya most free country? The Nairobi National Park, where diverse wildlife, including lions, giraffes, zebras, and rhinos are located literally in the middle of the city. Later in the video i will show you how that has been made possible.
Access to education and skill development programs has empowered Somali refugees to enhance their capabilities and contribute meaningfully to society. Educational initiatives, vocational training, and language programs have played a vital role in facilitating the integration of refugees into the Kenyan workforce.
This is Eastleigh, often referred to as "Little Mogadishu," is a vibrant and bustling neighborhood in Nairobi, Kenya. Located to the northeast of the city center, Eastleigh is a commercial and residential district known for its diverse population, with a significant concentration of Somali residents.
Over the years, Eastleigh has witnessed dynamic development and transformation. The Nairobi County government and various stakeholders have been involved in initiatives to improve infrastructure, enhance security, and address the unique needs of the diverse communities within the area.
Support from the Kenyan government and various non-governmental organizations (NGOs) has been instrumental in assisting Somali refugees. Programs providing legal aid, healthcare, and livelihood support contribute to the overall well-being and success of refugees.
Somalis in Nairobi contribute to the city's vibrant cultural landscape. This includes participation in the arts, music, and literature scenes. Somali cultural events, such as traditional dances, poetry recitals, and celebrations, often take place in Nairobi, fostering a sense of community and connection to their cultural roots.
From the Eastleigh district I proceeded to the Nairobi National park to see how close it is to the city center.
Nairobi National Park, situated just a short drive from the bustling city center of Nairobi, is a unique conservation area that allows visitors to experience a safari setting against the backdrop of the city skyline. The establishment of Nairobi National Park within the city limits is a remarkable achievement and was made possible through a combination of historical, geographical, and conservation efforts.
The origins of Nairobi National Park can be traced back to the colonial era when the British established Nairobi as a railway depot in the late 19th century. The area around the city was set aside as a game reserve to provide recreational hunting opportunities for European settlers. Over time, the concept of conservation gained prominence, leading to the establishment of the park.
Nairobi National Park's establishment within the city is a testament to Kenya's commitment to conservation, sustainable development, and the coexistence of urban areas with natural habitats. The park symbolizes the harmonious integration of wildlife conservation into the fabric of a growing and dynamic city.

Another brilliant video! Indeed, Somalis constitute an ethnic group in Kenya, forming part of the border communities across Somalia 🇸🇴, Kenya 🇰🇪, Ethiopia 🇪🇹, and Djibouti 🇩🇯. Notably, a significant population of Somalis from Somalia 🇸🇴 sought refuge in Kenya and has since become an integral part of the country.
