Its not the matter of you liking it or not, its business. Audi knows that a lot of their customers like big torque low fuel consuption bullet proof engines and so they still offer them as well as big 3 liter V6 tdis. Dont like it? Dont buy it. There will be many other people that will buy it.
@@waifuracer6516 if it would of been problem free that would be alright. The real engine that an A5 diserves is 3.0tdi or S5 3.0t. Other engines are just useless: 2.0tfsi drinks oil,2.0tdi high pressure pump goes kaboom with injectors,rail,dpf.2.7tdi as well,3.2 fsi slow engine 2000s conception but quite reliable, 4.2fsi is good but too small hp for capacity,bumping up the hp is extremely expensive. AUDI does know better when scaming people and not asuming repair of the engines like 2.0tfsi!

You need to use your brain to get a good deal, otherwise you end up like the vw haters that just bought a car without thinking and ended up having issues and bills. Also you left out the 1.8T which is the best option if your budget is low. It does have the usual timing chain cancer, but it can be sorted relatively cheap and once sorted its good. With a remap and bigger injectors and possibly a hybrid turbo you can easily get 230-250hp and 300-350nm out of it for about 300-500pounds which gives the 2.0tfsi a run for its money as the 1.8 is way more reliable and doesnt eat oil. Also the 1.8T is 5 groups lower than the 2.0tfsi and 8groups lower than the 3.0tdi and 3.2fsi. So basically: If you love V6 noise and NA throttle response and reliability go for 3.2fsi. If you love monster torque and diesels in general and you dont do short trips go for 3.0tdi. If your budget is tight but you are fine with stock power or you are willing to pay and work a bit to get more go for the 1.8T. Thats my opinion
