But to all people who scream bloody murder and how they are going to die a horrible death because of immediate radiation sickness: No, you are wrong. That is at least if my understanding of physics isn't totally fucked up and i also understood all their readings correctly. The highest reading of stray radiation before they ramped up the acceleration voltage was 28 mR/h, meaning you get a dosage of 28 thousandths of a Roentgen if you take that radiation for one hour straight, but they switched off after a mere couple of seconds. A dose of one full Roentgen means an equivalent dosage of 9 mGy (MilliGray) and humans can take up to 1 Gy before developing acute radiation sickness. Also the units Gray and Sievert use the same underlying units (Joule/Kilogramm) and are interchangable for non-particular radiation, i.e. Roentgen and Gamma rays. The maximum permissible yearly dosage in most western countries is 1 mSv/a for an ordinary citizen and 8-10 mSv/a for a radiation worker. So even if they took a full Roentgen over the later course of the experiment, they still wouldn't exceed what is deemed safe for somebody working e.g. in the nuclear industry. So, my conclusion is: - very dumb idea - illegal (at least where i live) - slightly increases your risk of developing cancer - definitely NOT an immediate death ray

To make radiation do you need triple phase AC electric to heat the tungsten cathode. And I like the Kino shirt
In Germany we say: RÖNTGENSTRAHLUNG!!
4:37 impressive engineering miracle.
Experiment n2 :"Is this dangerous for our neighbours?" hmm i wonder how they plan to find that out :D
4:18 the Chernobyl reactor shutdown button.
Buying a part of an old X-Ray machine on the Flea Market...
Pretty normal in Russia!
This is the most dangerous channel I've seen so far.
Next Video: how to get your own Personal nuclear reactor workibg in a crock pot
The vid after that one: 2 guys finaly crack cold fusion in their backyard
Damn, it was crazy. Hoping you the safety!
I bet you guys are loved by your neighbors.
10:39 3.6 Not great, not terrible.
You should try using it to make an xrf spectrometer
Year from now: We have been diagnosed with cancer.
That cooling oil is CARCINOGENIC
I hope this is fake. When it´s not I wish you really all the best.
Looks like a Carestream CS 2200 X-ray tube head unit!
11:28 xray ionizes the air
That has seen almost no use. To get best output apply 45 to 90kV to it and adjust the filament until you get 7 to 15mA draw from the HV PSU.
I study radiography and watching just makes me want to scream. X-rays produced in an x-ray tube are isotropic, meaning they go in all directions. They can hit surfaces and scatter exposing you to even more radiation. Cool shit though, not smart, but cool shit
4:35 why not use voltage divider with 2 resistors? Looping like that would create induction.
Well, induction would be small. Voltage divider using resistors wouldn't be good, because the li-ion cell needs to run the heater inside that tube. This needs current.
@11:27 your dosimeter counter maxed out
11:26 518 mR/h (milliroentgen)=5.18 mSV/h (millisievert). Radiation in Pripyat on the accident day was about 3 mSV/h or 300 mR/h.
keep in mind that Chernobyl released Alpha (most dangrouse), Beta and gamma raditaion particles compared to the xray gun which only releases Gamma if im aware, i might be wrong. And the energy should be lower however ik this is still kinda dangrouse
That piano was amazing at the end!
KREOSAN really be doing Cancer speedrun any%
11:20 - Is this as dangerous as it looks? Because it looks like it dangerous enough to shorten their lives.
To make radiation do you need triple phase AC electric to heat the tungsten cathode. After the transformers increase the electricity in a direct current the cathode the next is to push the button so it shoots it off the tungsten target. That is what makes radiographic radiation. Did you ever have any radiographic film?
Holy hell! I love this guys but this was too far. They have no idea about the dangers that come with playing with XRays!
I’ve just recently found your channel
And I really don’t know how you guys are still alive😂😂 I love the vids though stay safe
If Kreosan warns you about something being dangerous, you better be careful.
“Let’s find out if it’s dangerous for the neighbours” 😂
Those Ray's can do serious damage
My favorite name for hot glue is "hot snot"
If it's Russia, it's serious.
They are generating intense gamma rays and hide behind doors or thin walls.
Is that really 500+ milliseivert i saw😲
He was standing a good distance away and I think they said 500 milliroentgen/hr. So 5 millisievert/hr. The dose rate was probably much higher when was imaging his hand though. This is nothing to fool around with.
They just irridiated the whole house most likely, scary stuff this is.
5mS/h is not great, and not terrible... its equivalent to an r-ray.. oh. moment...
il on ete exposer q plus de 40 roentgen/h soit 4 5sv/h
@@Boerkie1990 But you can destruct it by ionizing
Those flat metal-framed monitors are really cool. Did you buy them like that or did you take the panels out of normal computer displays?
8:17 tell me thats a fake spider.
Bro u just created a "dirty weapon". lol
what happened with the ferris wheel? Here ` s one cool idea, why don ` t you fire it up electricly?
Boys, boys, boys....With Sabrina..lol. Excellent ending.
Playing with PCB transformer oil, taking an X-Ray tube out of the waveguide, intentionally irradiating themselves... These boys will likely live forever (45).
What is bad about the oil?
@@jdmbeats It eats you from the inside out. Horrific cancer, birth defects, organ failures. Look up "Times Beach, Missouri" for what contamination does.
Like my dad after work... I have probably some super powers from all the inhaled batteries and bulbs. ;D
They should visit a military surplus store.
