6/15/24 Dahlgren Osprey Cam: Osprey baby in danger, is rescued by Tidewater Wildlife Rescue

The 13-day-old little miracle osprey baby had been stuck in a deep hole in the nest for more than a day. Viewers reached out to the nest owners, Dahlgren Osprey Cam, and they contacted Tidewater Wildlife Rescue. TWR expertly handled the rescue of the chick, assessed the baby's condition, removed unnatural and hazardous items from the nest, filled in the hole, and added some soft nesting materials. After the baby was returned to the nest, Helen and Doug (Mom and Dad ospreys) returned to the nest to check on their little one.
