aww I love the bow and coo x3 people have told me only males do this so I"m guessing my Dove is a female as she does not bow and coo XD she just coos lol such a lovely guy.
my dove actually does it and she's female! (she's definitely female, she lays eggs 😭) it's just that it's characteristic of "dominant" doves which are typically male but can sometimes be female
@chris-hn6pu lol nice this is good to know cuz my Dove has started to do the bowing and cooing so I was like....oh maybe she's not female. But still to young to know since mine doesn't lay eggs yet. I still have much to learn about doves as this is my first lol thanks for sharing.
@@Sonikkun92 idk if this is still relevant, but you can cover your dove's cage for the night like i do. as long as they do not see much light and think it is still "night" they might not start cooing.

I have the same dove and he constantly cooing. Is there a way to stop it from cooing? Because I cannot sleep in my weekends :(
Sadly, I don't think there is a way. It just comes with the territory of having these guys. Maybe keep earplugs for sleeping in. I did LOL
