You can still kill Sigma with Towers since it's the opponent that sends it to the gy. The case here is DDKC failed to meet the condition to trigger its "then" effect.
You right on the part were it works in MD , but it should not because of the following: We have been trained that to fulfill a “then” statement in ygo , we first need to do the before statement before proceeding to the next statement ( which does affect the player) after “then”. In this case we didn’t change the state of any card on the field , meaning we failed to do the statement before “then”, hence we can’t apply the statement after “then”. Unless just Konami miss-worded it and that’s how they intent for the card to work then thats another story. 💀

Taken from yugioh wiki article about psct: In "Do A, then do B", B happens after A. These things happen in sequence, not simultaneously. A is required for B, but NOT vice-versa: if A does not happen, then stop; even if B cannot happen, you still do A.
Because Karma Cannon doesn't resolve that way. The THEN is part of the condition. If no cards are send with the first effect, THEN the second effect won't even resolve properly. Like, bro?
Sometimes it feels like Konami just prints cards without really thinking about these sorts of PSCT implications. I wouldn't be that surprised if we get a ruling or errata in the future where Konami just says "actually, it does work this way", which would be kind of annoying since that would remove some pretty interesting counter-play. I just wish it said all this on the card though, lol.

What does Karma Cannon do again?
Then is such a cursed word in yugioh.
I believe this is a mistake on omegas side. Karma Cannon makes the player send the card (might not have resolved as you were against an A.I idk)

Been using Karma cannon for a while, but haven't faced Sigma / Ultimate Falcon / Towers, only links...
Thanks for the explanation, honest
Since connon couldn’t flip any face down that’s the trigger since no card was flipped the trigger doesn’t happen
Still it targets the player I think in Master Duel it works as intended, so the monster would be dead basicallly

The reason is because the fact that no card was flipped
The monster is uneffected by all cards effects meaning it wouldn’t go to the graveyard
No that’s not the point

Is this PSCT and Konami being Konami, or a miscoded simulator? "Then" =/= "and if you do, then".

You still need a monster that is flippable face down on field in master duel so the sent to graveyard part works
