The Life of Dr. John Momis

Bougainville is an autonomous region of Papua New Guinea in the south west pacific. In 2019, people of Bougainville voted for referendum on independence after a decade long civil war with the PNG Government. The conflict that emerged as mining loyalty issue was a catalyst from the secession movement which was established long before PNG’s independence.
This secession movement was outstandingly spearheaded by some of the Bougainville leaders by then and led up into Bougainville’s present politics. The documentary video as documented herein features one of these Bougainville secessionist leader, Dr. John Momis.
