I think there's a lot of things that you don't really "need" but can give you broader context or understanding and be helpful in more subtle but powerful ways. Your no framework approach is a great example of this. You could just use frameworks but not doing it that way shows you why they exist and makes you better at being able to use them
hey sajjaad, thank you for this video! i just finished my freshman year at georgia tech and have almost nothing planned for the summer (no internships, study abroad, etc) so I'm going to grind on projects. a video on what projects/productive activities we could do during a long summer break would be helpful!
For sure! Check out the projects I mentioned in this video - I'd recommend working on your resume and practicing leetcode so you are ready for next summer internship recruiting! Will consider making a video on this though!
i saw this video today and get impressed but i notice that when ever you say subscribe the subscribe button get highlight in red colour how you do that 😀❤
Hello Sajjaad, I just finished my freshmen year of college in which I took my first python introduction class. It was my first real experience with coding. My background started in high school in computer discoveries class where I used html and css and fell in love with coding. I would like your opinion on something regarding the learning process. Do you think that it is fine for a student to look up answers on youtube, Ai, and Google when you simply just don’t know what to do next on a project? I have had many times where I don’t know what to do and I look the answer up and spend time trying to understand it so as to know what to do the next time.
yep also thinking of doing the same however id learn something with A.I programming for future proof incase a.i takes jobs but if you program robots and stuff you practically cant be replaced

hey sajaad, I am completely new to programming and in uni they have started us with html, css, javascript, I am finding javascript quite difficult with the recursive functions and loops and what not, I have even purchased gpt-4 to make this seem simpler to me, any tips for me to start understanding this world of JS, or do you think I have to build it ground up?? Big beneficiary, thanks.
Create some project using js, because when i tried learning js in 9th grade, i understood jack shit, but then i forced myself to create a website that had a js frontend and node.js backend, and by means of doing so, i found patterns and learned js
Sajjad Salam my brother. Can you please help me out. I’ve been tech enthusiast forever and I’ve been finally breaking out my shell and learning how to code. I’m starting with front end web dev. But I’m doing more research and there is endless types of programming. I like hardware, but at the same time I’m really interested in software because that has a much better career. I’m taking CS in college I start in August. Should I start with Web Dev and go on from there?
walaikum salaam - try out one of the web dev projects I suggested in the video, thats a good starting point to see if you like software, then i'd say make a decision from there

i think its a careful balance, you want to search up small things to help you piece a solution, but don't search up solutions directly
