Hi Wander! Glad to see you pick up this game.
To answer some questions you asked,
-No you can not dig up land to make more space for water, nor can you fill in water for more land. No dynamite in game in this version.
-Building need grass to be built which is why you couldn't build the totem where you first tried. time or pickaxe the land to fill it in.
-Fishing totems do not seem to stack.
-Over 100% fishing chance rounds down to 100%, no double fish, but there is only one way to get over 100% fishing chance and it requires every upgrade. There is also a perk that lets you catch multiple fish from one cast.
-The wood from fish works on catch.
-All of the greyed off items require either the appropriate building or a perk.
-You can investigate the build/craft menu to see what items are used in what.
-Fishing is the most OP and easiest build. But there are quite a few builds, but most of which do take 2-4 hours for a play though based on difficulty
-Sardine totems are good, just don't build too many 1 frame per minute is . . . . .. . . . . .
Words cannot describe how satisfying seeing all of those rods fishing at the same time is
Fishing was incredibly satisfying to watch. I really like all the sounds when you do things too. Menu is kinda confusing but it seems like a really nice game to sink time into.
Its so funny, I got this notificatiom earlier today, and when I read the title, I thought "Wow, that's kinda harsh Wander". I was thinking how nice you are on video and was suprised you titled it "Another Farm Roguelike"

That one game where you grow mutant plants and go find seeds/pickaxes and more? Forgot it's name.. you would have to give roses to some people to get upgrades

FANTASTIC GAME... (dont worry no spoilers) here's my feedback on it... Learned the game mechanics on Easy, now trying Hard Mode after failing a few times, there's a ton of replayability value due to different characters with different perks... great great game 👍don't miss out on it... would be perfect game for tablet or phone if the Dev decided to port it over (you control things directly without having to move a character walking around like Harvest Moon) ... haha it's silly too I didn't know you could put one raw ingredient in the ... (spoilers removed) and get (...) out of it, the game rewards experimentation in a very satisfying way

Oh this used a pre-set skin similar to Sunflower Land, I forgot what site that was but you can get the skins of these Tools, Interfaces and whatnot which is why this looks very familiar

I like the trend of cheap simple games that started with Vampire Survivor, specially with different genres but I very much fail to see the rougelike aspect of this game. Is it just permadeath, that you start every run from nothing...? Because that's really weak if you don't at least get some upgrades between the runs or some other interesting element that would keep you playing
You want roguelite mechanics for meta progression. Roguelikes carry nothing (or unlocks) between runs.
All the characters have different starting bounes

I have a save file going right now in this game, it in the infinite mode and i just try to fill the whole island with bee houses :) Why? I dunno, but i am doing it and someday i'll be done :)))
How did you manage to pay the ridiculously high rent payments after week 2?
@@bennyelsensohn9299 I am doing the no rent mode (There are different mods) but even then the first 4-5 weeks would have prolly gone over well enough anyways, because my first act was to get rid of all stones and woods, had some good perks at the start and i started with blacksmith so i wouldn have to worry about building furnaces to upgrade my tools :)

That is kinda busted hundreds of fish from one pond, maybe add a feature where you need to actually bought fish food/seed from market then wait couple of days / weeks to breed instead of fishing nonstop, like ocean it makes sense, maybe the fish grew less and less the more you fished in one area so you need to change up a bit more, but infinite fish from one pond is funny
Not even gonna watch the video just gonna buy the game and play it for 22 hours

I've played Atomicrops a lot. But I also don't really think of it as a farming roguelike.
It's just pure stress with vegetables.
