November Bolting To The Dogs!

November has been a busier month the. Expected and we haven’t had chance to get out as much as I’d liked again! Covid or some sort of bug has been doing the rounds and out a stop to a few trips out! These clips where from early November on a short session bolting to the dogs that’s why I decided to bring the young pup I bred to introduce him to the ferrets and rabbits! It’s fair to say he loved it!

As a youngster I used to ferret, but I either purse netted or used a shotgun.
I did go with a guy who used a lurcher, but she was held back on a release lead!
Only let off when a rabbit bolted.

Fantastic stuff sir, I wish we had more rabbits in Norfolk, I'd love another little lurcher. The young dog is very pretty, it's encounter with the ferret creeping up behind it made me laugh 😃

thank you, him playgin with the ferret was the highlight of the day! My pal is down that way and they are very thin on the ground. However they make up for it with alot of other game!

Brilliant!! Nice to see the dogs working together perfectly with no nets in use... best and most satisfying way to work ferrets and lurchers together, in my humble opinion. Addition of the pup in the video was superb.. talk about starting em early!! How is the merle pup bred by the way? Best, Steve.

I much prefer just bolting to the dogs myself aswell great sport!
The Merle pup is bred from my pure whippet who you see in the video to a friend’s beddy collie greyhound!

Fathers a David platts deerhound x greyhound and mother is a keeper bred deerhound x collie greyhound
