How you two have kept pace with everything for the last like 8 years blows my mind, and it's proof that knuckling down gets so much done. Whatever you guys do you know we have your back! A year to get settled into your new shop could be a really good thing for prepping for next year :)

I wish nothing but the best for you Dan! Your improvement through the year in 2022 was exciting to watch! I’m sure you’ll be back at it in no time! But FD needs another big sponsor to step in. To me it seems like companies are killing deal’s because of the potential economic impact we are facing and are going to face of it does get worse. Falken a day one sponsor already pulled out. This year is going to be interesting. No Falken, No Dan, Half Rounds With LZ😬
Privateering a program is a daunting task and you two did that long enough for us to understand why you wouldn't go back to doing it. Your two are legends! Keep being Rad and we'll come along for the ride.

You are by far the hardest working team in Formula Drift. I feel like this year away from FD will be good for you both (and Turbo!), it will allow you to focus on RAD Industries in your new location, will allow you to grow your YT channel/socials and do even more fun and interesting content. Building a living in these passion industries is such a hustle. Mad respect for the drive and the for the vision to pause even when that passion tells you otherwise. In the meantime always welcome to shred with us anytime!
I completely understand this decision. I can't wait to see you back fully refreshed. This break will be a positive thing in the long run, even though you and your RAD to the bone Supra will be missed. Just do us a favor and keep releasing this baller footage of what you're up to. It would of been cool to even do a partial season and bow down out of a few events like other drivers have done.
It shouldn't cost so much money to live out your dream. I hate to see you miss the season it feels like its going to be alot different this year. on a much smaller scale, I sold my race car that I spent 5 years with and it's been my biggest regret since. Don't ever sell what you think one day you might need. Dan, I watched you for a long time and seen you grow as a driver and person and you have came such a long way. I hate I wont see you this year but you're going to come back stronger and better. Don't give it up. I promise it'll all be worth it in the end.

Big props to you guys for being straight up honest with the people you reach across all platforms. It sends a huge message to the people scraping by to accomplish there dreams. You now have an opportunity to grow your UA-cam channel that you might not have because of racing, the people in the car community are awesome and they are without a doubt going to have your back.

You guys are rad. It's hard to be passionate about motorsports and not let it control every aspect of life. It's very wise to set a limit of what you're willing to give up. I loved watching this real talk about life and drifting. I hope to tandem again this year somewhere with you.
I am so proud. The passion you guys have for drifting pales in comparison to the love you have for each other. You will get the sponsors for next year, but the opportunity to continue to build and fortify your marriage is sometimes missed by many couples. You guys are an amazing team. This year outside of FD is going to be one of the best years you both ever had.

I appreciate you guys for sharing your story. It's so hard as the small guy looking in and think, dang, how are all these teams doing this or able to afford it all? So it's nice to know you guys took the risk charged up the credit cards and sent it! But now you're wanting to take a less stressful road and i'm all about that! you are the man you can overcome this in any company that is not willing to work with you would be crazy. You are a marketable person, likable person and have a awesome wife and system that works for you guys. I’m surprise they’re not throwing money at you. Wish they should be you guys work three times as hard as anybody else to sponsor your own things and still make it look easy
As a 25year mechanic with over $30,000 invested in tools ,from New Zealand, I got into Gearwrench because of your videos, you were a great asset to that brand ,I hope they stick with in the years to come.
I like your laid back Cali. attitude and balls to the wall driving and your better halves smile and intelligence and realistic approach to a situation. Keep knocking on those doors and the payoff is closer than you think. Put a note pad on your night table and take down your middle of the nite thoughts. The brand you've built has a ton of value to the right company. I can't imagine there isn't a company out there that isn't also interested in your target demographic as well. Like another tool company, a company such similar to Drift HQ, or another retail brand.
Now you can focus on the bigger picture with the new shop and being with Rene. You will come back even stronger. You can’t say formula drift without saying RAD DAN !!! Supporting you always!!! All love and respect to you guys!!!

I've been your fan Dan ever since you smashed my radiator in Justin's shop. Your work has always been top notch, even when you weren't being paid for top notch work. I've loved watching your progression from amateur to pro. And even the days before with JustDrift. Dan you've overcome a major obstacle (many actually). I got to talk to your wife at an event about our mutual situation and how I knew you were going to be okay. And you came out swinging ready for your life to get back on track, literally!

I loved cheering for yall bc you were the "underdog" team. Then last year it seemed yall were really making some great progress. I think there is gonna be some big things happening in the drift world and maybe that's why yall were given the opportunity to step back, build yourselves up and come back swinging. Gonna be sad not to see yall in FD this year. But also excited to see what yall come up with this year in the "down time". Will support yall regardless of FD. Keep up all the great work!!!

First things first, I love you two. So, you take a season off, get everything dialed and take the time to do things right and set yourself up for continued success. The decision to always move forward and not set yourself back is a wise one and will only put you in a better position for the future. Your party in the back banner is what got my attention and the awsome livery you guys would come out with each year and I'm also a toyota guy plus you driving a supra. My teenage dream car. Damn man I hate that I won't get to see you compete this year but it also gives you the opportunity to focus on your new shop, new customers if you're still doing builds for people and to focus on some lifestyle youtube content. It sucks that you’ll be missing this year. I started watching FD the year Deane won his first championship, once him and Piotr left you were the other driver I kept an eye on and always wanted to see go farther in the events. I’ll be good to see you come back next year.
