I have a couple videos on the channel from FLL which would give you an idea of the selection they have available. Myself I almost always rent from National.

I guess if you live locally and want to rent a car from here you have have someone drop you off at the airport at terminal 1 and take the walkover to the rental center. Then walk to your car brand level there. I guess you would make your reservation online first.
