Except it is at ground level and the heat can dissipate so that there is a tiny bit of freshness. If this was underground, then it would be simply unbearable because the exhaust cannot escape and the air is restricted. But not like trains like Tri Rail though. There is at least plenty of ventilation and we can still enjoy waiting at the station with a little breeze
