Thanks for explaining. Soon getting my first HPA replica (ASG Scorpion) and had a few questions: Does the tool to change the psi come with the regulator? Also, I only have the chance to fill and test on the fields so what psi would probably be 1.2j? Thanks :)
Highly subjective depending on what fun you have and how it works. My pistols will hit that with about 90psi but my DMR will do it with around 80. Just a bit of trial once built and then adjustment depending what you want 👍
I have a quick question about the HPA and maintenance. For some green gas there is silicon oil added to the gas to lube your gun while youre using it. If I switch to HPA how to I maintenance my gun for lubing and such?
Awesome question. The answer to that is 2 fold, HPA is a lot "cleaner" than green gas / propane is so there are virtually no contaminents however yes your internals can and will dry out. The answer to that is simply, you strip it and clean/lube it. GBB pistols (like hi capas) you can do after every game (I tend to go around 6 months depending on use) and for engine'd stuff I'd say read the manual but try to go for about a 1 year interval.
Hey chap I've just got this and running it with my WE glock 18c and the output pressure drops around 5 psi per shot and then slow goes back up, do you get the same thing? If I got full auto then I'm outta pressure and then I have to wait for it to build up again
That sounds like the refresh rate is suffering a little bit. If it's new, get in touch with retailer and tell them you're suffering with shot to shot consistency. The Balystik v3's are actually pretty decent for refresh rate. If it's "older" then it probably just needs a strip, clean and lube. HTH's
im a little late so no worries if you dont reply but is the 'paintball regulator' as you call it, something that needs to be adjusted or is it always set to 800psi and set from the factory? essentially do i need to worry about it or do i just need to worry about the pressure for the main reg?
PB reg is factory set 800psi in most cases unless it’s low pressure model (US can get these). Thank you for the watch and finding one of my older vids 👍

Hi i need some help. I bought a Dye 0.8L 3000 psi tank. But preset was unpluged. I plug it with my hand. Its ok? Or i need some tools to screw the preset on the tank? Thanx. I made my frist HPA gun. A spenca arms h12 with polarstar f2. Thanx if you could help
Hi, I'm not sure what you mean by the preset? Do you mean the regulator? If so which regulator? The one that goes into the tank itself? Might be better checking some FB groups or discords etc with some pictures for more help? You have to respect HPA - it's dangeroues to have 3000psi in your hands.
OK then that's not great, really with the tank completely empty you need it to a little more than hand tight, once the bottle pressures up it will push against the threads but I wouldn't suggest just doing it hand tight and leaving it. Defo get it nipped up beyone that. When it comes to those regs, I'd always reccommend getting a company involved who deals with them daily to do it or advise.
Hi buddy, I’m going to be getting my first hpa starter kit next week and was wondering if you could possibly do a maintenance video for the tank itself and the regulator and lines?
Hey man, probably I think is the answer. Each regulator will be different (I've just moved to a redline mini sfr) but other than that there isn't a lot to do on them.
@@AngryBullAirsoft ok thanks mate. I have looked into it a bit but not very many vids on maintenance lol seems easy enough to maintain anyway. Appreciate the reply.
With the brand? No. With the unit you have? Very likely. You could likely strip and grease it and it will seal up or as it's new, send it back for replacement.

If you buy it new - Yes. Balystik regulators need a specific tool, others like Redline, Polarstar or Wolverine tend to use a hex key (allen key).
I saw your comment on la capa customs post about the 4.3 Battle Cat slide. Are you planning on doing a build with one of those slides
Certainly am! Eagerly awaiting delivery of mine from Hi Capa Hub 🤓
Isnt 80 psi too low for a hi-capa?
How much joules do you get and with what BBs?
It's on the lower side but I use tight bore barrels and nozzles with very good seal. I play exclusively indoors so 1J is perfect for what I do.

I got the same tank and regulator but my regulator won’t go the whole way down the threads by hand, do I need to use a wrench?
Never force it, may be worth running the bottle pressure down and then trying again otherwise you're pushing against the pressure in the bottle.
Great video!
Thank you 🙏

My hpa keeps leaking out of a small hole above the "balystiK" logo on the regulator, do you have any idea why?
Wild guess would be a bit of dirt in the mechanism, usually when a reg leaks a rebuild, new seals and grease with Gun-Sav fixes them.

hello mate is there any chance on a vid talking about the dates on the bottle if we need a new one or how long they last .... thanks
On a steel tank, 5 years from date and then every 5 years from subsequent test. Carbon bottles last about 10 years(ish).
