Excellent instructional! I'd be curious to see the haymaker on the infamous tank.
Bonnet set screws just supposed to be hand tight? What happens if you overtighten them?
Damn, throw Doug under the bus why don't ya! Lol. Thanks for the informational guys. Great content as usual
Can we get a Keegan gear bag please!! Love the vids guys
I want my output pressure to be 3000psi. Is that possible with these regulators?
Be advised. The video shows the procedure on a regulator that is off the tank. IF YOU WORK ON THE REG ON THE TANK, VERY IMPORTANT TO RELEASE ANY AIR THAT'S INSIDE THE TANK BEFORE YOU TAKE THE BONNET OFF.
Mine came with a red/blue/silver installed and I think by default it's 655 psi. Pretty confusing info especially on what each shim does. Each shim has a different thickness.
what pressure for EMEK EMF100? cant find it in the manual
Mine is set at 1100 psi, so should I assume removing 2-3 shims should put me at 800 psi???
Thank you for the info. I have an Emek with the DeadlyWinds Hair 45 valve. Since the air tank is set at 800psi and the Emek operates at 135psi, where is the extra air going?
The regulator on the Emek automatically adjusts the input pressure down to only what it needs. You can run an emek at 800psi just like most fields do. Setting your tank regulator down to 450psi will just put less wear on the marker and o rings.
@@joshleblanc8717 will you also get more shots from the tank if you take all the shims out?
@@Islandstonr No.
It's stays in the tank
Now how do you increase the output pressure please?
Put more shims or somethjng
Could you please explain what is the purpose of having a lower operating pressure
To stay within the recommended operating pressure of the marker and put less wear on some internals.
It’s doesnt fuck your gun to its limit
More shots
So if my friend has a tank that has an output pressure of 850 he could lower it to 300 basically converting it into a slp??
Get a reg pressure tester and find out for yourself.
I have a question, I bought an 90ci 4500 PSI ninja tank, is the output the 850? Like you said, my tanks regulator is all black so I assume it is the standard one, I only ask because I want to convert my CO2 shotgun to HPA but I don’t want to have to buy an expensive regulator that can bring it down to 850 if it’s higher. I just want a regular paintball regulator so I can run HPA and not have to worry about trying to get my tank filled, my field only fills HPA. And I know that unregulated CO2 is about 850PSI
Depends which regulator it is but most likely yes 800-850 psi
@@PunishersPaintball I think it says XLP on it with the double red Orings and I didn’t exchange it for any regulator so it should be standard. I did have to fix it a while back cause I slipped on ice and fuckin broke it 🥱 (external regulator was more damaged though)
Does adjusting the outward pressure effect the power of the rifle?
it will put more pressure in the gun, so yes ! it will have more punch ! but can damage some parts if it is excessive.
Keegan looks like a little gremlin at the intro, creepy af.
Me who slams 15 shims in there
Like why would someone need or want to do this
Having a Luer out for pressure is better for the solenoid in speedball guns. Higher output pressure works better for Tippmanns, for example.
@@PunishersPaintball thank you I really appreciate it guys
@@PunishersPaintball I have an axe 2.0 would you recommend doing this? I also have a valken zero energy tank 4500
My tippmann A5 wont cycle on low pressure from NINJA. so I probably need tu put more shims in the reg.
Pooping.
