Wow I’ve gone through so many programs learning real involved rigging options and now my favorite program has a really advanced one! Wow I’ll be learning this as soon as possible!
This feature looks great and in the future will be great but be warned at the moment its very bug ridden. The bitmaps render blurry against the vector artwork, the rigged characters do not work when imported and reused in other shots and various symbols jump all over the screen when animating uncontrollably. Its cost me lots of extra time on my current project and wouldn't want anyone else to make the same mistake. Hopefully the good people at adobe are fixing such issues as I have been using Animate CC/ Flash for over 15 years and truly like the software.

This might be too late but i figured out why the animation would jump around, its because if you use the free transform tool with the asset in warp and the center white dot was moved it tend to jump around all you have to do is reset that white dot by double clicking it on both end of the animation
The downside to the new wrapped tool is that it will instantly fuck up the quality of your drawing object once you apply wrap on it! Hopefully it'll get fixed
Hi - Animate auto converts vector to bitmap for the time being for a better warping and tweening. However you can turn this off in Preferences > Drawing > Uncheck Auto convert vector to bitmap for better warping and tweening option. Thanks!

is there a way to say, make an arm rig with a flexi or soft bone, connected to a hand symbol with dozens of hands embedded, rather than having to do the flexi bone with one static hand pose?
Found a serious bug. If I make a skeleton with a pin and rotate it, The pin moves little by little. I can't work with animation normally. I hope the problem is resolved quickly.😂

An converts to bitmap by default but you can change in Prefs as already mentioned - but the reason for bitmap conversion is to handle the complex calculations during the use of the rigging tool. It's in the best interest of the user. I always keep original vector art on a duplicate layer ;)
@@keyframer. The likes of Moho and Toonboom don't have to convert anything to bitmaps to have complex rigging. Why is every feature gimped in one way or another?
at some art schools you get all the programs from adobe for four years for free. At least on mine. I know it won't help you, I'm just announcing it here.

Don't worry, it's like every new feature... it will work in about 5 years.

Make sure you haven't accidentally moved the bone up, thereby stretching it and deforming the shape it's controlling :)
The rigging tool now have the same ability as Toon Boom Harmony's rigging tool
No. Not yet. Harmony is way better.

The Asset Warp tool is meant to be used with bitmap, Object Drawings or Grouped assets. You can't apply them to symbol instances.
