If I were in the market for another analog polyphonic and thought I could afford it, your patches are definitely selling me on this model. Are all these sounds pretty much evenly created from analog and digital tone generators, like that Piano JX Patch? Even though analog was in the toilet during the time when I began learning to play music in the mid 90s, I could still easily imagine various groups of artists gawking and drooling over a model like this one back then.
alla fine è uno strumento digitale che emula l'analogico, contando che ha al suo interno anche strumenti digitali in origine come XV5080 e RD però resta uno strumento ottimo per avere quel sound roland tipico da aggiungere al proprio setup potendo smanettare con il pannello! speriamo in bene per i futuri model banks

yes you've sequencer on board. The internal speakers are decent, but not the best in the world.. It's way better use external speakers connected to the main output
Ciao Daniele, una domanda, per sound design, verso genere patch complesse (Atmosphere, Ambient, Landscape, Drone) mi suggerisci più il Jupiter X o qualche altra macchina come il Fantom, Kronos, Montage? Non ho bisogno di Sequencer e il Jupiter mi piace molto ma a causa della storia Roland fatta per il 70% di suoni Lead, monotimbri, e genere Brass, non vedo molto spazio per suoni complessi, lunghi e pads. Tu cosa dici? Grazie
Diciamo che jupiter è un contenitore di strumenti storici che possono essere combinati tra loro, molto ben suonante e valido. Strumenti come fantom, montage e kronos danno sicuramente più spazio ad altre opzioni (hai sicuramente più fonti sonore a cui attingere) Io oltre a jupiter ho anche Montage nel mio setup e come dici anche tu sono strumenti molto diversi. Per quello che vuoi fare io ti consiglio di guardare il Korg Wavestate, macchina che possiedo e che mi da l’idea di essere molto adatta a quello che interessa a te! ;) dalla prox settimana inizieranno ad essere online le mie demo
Geazie Daniele e cosa ne pensi del Waldorf Millenium o del Prophet X? Ho paura con questi due synth della poca polifonia e di trovarmi una impostazione alla "Moog" che a me non piace per via dei suoni freddi crudi alla Lead per intenderci. Avevo visto anche il Modal 002 e il Solaris di Bowen. La wavestate mi sembra un clone della mia app iwavestation suonata sul mio blofeld

I should have 80% of my control on the front panel (excluding modulation routing) like the Roland Gaia, Minilogue, Prophets, MatrixBrute, even semi-modular is acceptable MiniBrute2....This is how I sound design today in very little time. (my studio is 100% hardware including the 24track recorder). (Computers....YUK :)
Yes, like you i’m an hardware guy, i love my ob6 because no menu diving and all you need you can tweek on the panel. For jpX/xm all the basic parameters are on the panel but some are into the menu :)

Macchina infinita, con il "sapore" di una intera era di synth storici, anche se a tratti risulta un po' "digitale" (ma non si può avere tutto 😁😁😁)

I am assuming some scenes are 1, 2, 3, and four layers? You are aren't just playing tones in modeled and 4 partial XV50 tones?
yes exactly, all these sounds are scenes so created with 2 or more layers. I can make videos in the future with only tones from single model, like my video of JD800 of Zenology for example.

Some parameters are hidden in the menu, but you can use the new free editor to access all the parameters
