one of if not the most beuatiful thing I have seen in all my years its so soothing to see that you can make such beuatiful pieces of landscape. keep up this good work
Really awesome! But fyi that rock is a type of volcanic sand stone you can use it in aquariums no problem itll just slowly degrades through abrasion etc and turns to sand. 👍
@@jessethomas4777 i dunno the official name. But ive used it before in a stocked fish tank no problem. Its a bit weird cos it like does degrade over time but not through chemical process if you clean it or scrub it youll notice it creates sandy dust.
@@jessethomas4777 it’s not mica, the shiny parts of mica are flakier (?). like small flat surfaces instead of glittery specks, if that makes sense. i was a weird (and autistic) geology-obsessed child and my favorite rock was mica lol. okay edit: i was wrong, it probably is mica. i found my favorite rock sample (of mica) and it looks just like that. i got mixed up with pyrite, which is what i described. oops.
I really enjoy the minimal background music in this scape, video definitely had a calming vibe the same as the finished product! Fun but gentle and not too loud.
I have a shelf in my bathroom that I'm trying to make filled with plants and stuff, I already have a planted aquarium, a nano vivarium, and maybe I'll have to make a nano paludarium... thanks for the great video and inspiration!
Your aquariums, your paludariums, and reptiles are wonderful. In this art, you are a true master. Sincere congratulations from Venice (Italy). Still good !!! 😊
when sanding the glass get a sanding block or at least some cut resist gloves, trust me, working in the glass industry i found out the "bloody" hard way lol
@@mod.ts76 It depends on your location. Legal with a permit where I am. But that was a minecraft reference, since the game has added axolotl. This tank would be much much too small for them either way.
Incredible! Your creativity never ceases to amaze! If only the glitter rocks were safe for animals! Imagine a Cenote type of design?! Flooded glittery cave, light pouring through a hole in the ceiling and a shallow aquatic area above, transitioning to a dry cave with stalactites. I'd love to see something like that!
Looks really good. Even though you can’t see the glitter when the stones are wet, it doesn’t matter. It’s just a very nice feature to have on a shelf. Looking awesome.
That looks awesome Tanner!! I swear you can take what some would consider useless and turn it into a thing of beauty. You’ve come so far and you just keep getting better!
What would be cool is the same angled design but have it larger at the top, a place where the livestock can sort of hang over the outside of the tank. Sweet looking tank, would love to be as good as you one day
Sooo beautiful! I adore this setup!!! Nice job, Tanner. 🙂. I thought it was so great how you worked in helpful details (wet sandpaper prevents the glass from going airborne - I never knew why the sandpaper had to be wet before.) And you did that in a way that didn’t stop the peaceful vibe of the video. Two thumbs up!!!
Holy Cow! That’s my favorite, no animal, Paludarium you’ve done! And I could totally see the glitter refracting from the rocks! Stellar job 🤩 You make my jaw drop every time.
I've been watching your videos for about 6 months now and I have to say you've inspired me to study and learn this art skill. Amazing work you do and each piece of work you do has character and heart. Love the videos man. Keep it up.
*mind blown* The sand tray is a really good idea to work with rocks and keep them in the right spot.... and then you used it as a way to measure how big the rest of the paludarium would have to be. Wow!
Just found your channel recently as im really getting into terrariums and youre honestly the best channel on UA-cam when it comes to terrariumS and other stuff like that, keep up the great work
If you ever want to do a hardscape that sparkles that is animal safe I recently found black diamond granite at my fish store. It took forever to identify the rock. I knew it was a granite with it's rust red striations and cold steel blue. It is really very pretty but what makes it special are the mica flecks in the blue striations. They really glisten under the lights of an aquarium. I tested them for over a week to see if they changed water quality and they showed inert. They've been in my 20 for a couple months now running with fish eating off of them and happy.
I am super happy to have found your channel! You're very informative, clear and precise. I've been wanting to get into this as a hobby for a long time, but never thought id be able to. Do you have a website for supplies and perhaps even plants, the composites you use, etc? Hopefully I will get good enough at it to be able to forage as you do!!
I had a lot of fun with this one and working with new materials. I think it turned out great! What do you think?
Hello :))
Beautiful!!
You should make a poison dart frog terrarium. PDF's are not poisonous in captivity so they should be easy animals for you to take care of! 🐸🐸🐸
Love it!
All your builds are amazing, wish I could buy them cause they are soo cool!
Tanner hands down one of the best if not the best builders around! So creative!

i came to the comments knowing someone would know what these were and you did not disappoint me. a hero.
Ditto on the looking to spread info...
Scaping with quartz...😍
I thought it looked like mica. Which might the same as what you are saying? I am not very familiar with how sandstones work

That's why I got into this hobby but this guy we watching is on another level
I know, I'm so very relaxed right now. He picked the right hobby for sure.
100%
Tanner has that extra -ordinary understanding of technicalities which jells with nature.
"Scape-dojo". Someone needs to remind you just how bloody cool you are...
This gives me some serious King Kong 2005 vibes and I love it! Very good build!
This man is an inspiration, and his video's sound design has just been improving. I think this one was my favorite so far.

like the backward caulking/gun load, while attention was diverted. ;) also no gloves.

Wow! This is amazing. I really like paludariums built in glass tanks like this.
So peaceful and beautiful. Another great tutorial and design.
Love it nice waterfall sound for a room in your house.
Gorgeous! I thought the use of iridescent glass was unique. I don't recall it used very often, but creates a lovely backdrop.
Man you killed it again. Super cool too, you should be so proud 👏
That things’s dripping!
Therapeutic for the first 30 minutes 😂
Awesome design. I think the Iridescent Glass really sets it off as a 'Cave Aesthetic'. Well done
Finally, my weekly dose
This looks like the new lush caves coming to Minecraft
I agree! And, boy, am I excited for them :)
with the azalea roots growing downward. All we need is a axolotle
