And to go work an Seat Ibiza 1.9 GT Tdi 110hp with AFN Engine year 1998. Love old cars mate,i hope take care this great cars,give some love they deserve it. If its a taxi, police and company car, it means its cheap and reliable. Absolute cars some of which do millions of miles, but never get the same recognition as Volvo or Mercedes, cuz they're "just poor people's cars," and people take their existence as a given. Probably the same reason this one was abandoned.

A Zafira did +750K, C Vectra more than one million. Mine is at 1,163 million now and so on. Opel is Stellantis nowadays and they'd propably just flip Me the finger for not buying six new Peugeots over the years :)
G Astra was, and still a good car. Manufactured from 98 to 2009!!! - was produced simultaneously with Astra H (G Astra Classic II from 2004 - basically the same chassis with Twinport engines). I've owned one, then gave to my parents. Bit later they changed it to a newer twinport (Classic II) version. Comfortable, and reliable cars, not provide too much driving experience, but heeey, buy a Astra G OPC. That is a different story!

Rear window defroster works. Wow. :) Well. One of the things I hate is the Astra G's radio display. So, those pixels of lcd move very slowly when the weather is cold. :D

Good cars. I was looking for something a year ago and for the price I had a choice between a 2007 Renault or a 1998 1.6 Astra G like this. Only 90k miles and had been well looked after by the old man that had owned it since new. Of course I chose the Astra. I've done over 25k miles in 18 months and only changed the front tyres since that time. I always BUT ALWAYS change the oil and oil filter EVERY 5K MILES. My old 2000 Zafira is on over 200k miles too and is still going strong. These cars are worth every penny. BUT you MUST CHANGE OIL REGULARLY 😊❤

It turned on so fast that they say bad about Opels but I think it's a good car ! The only defect of the Opel is that the bodywork rusts
