Volvo XC40 Recharge (2021, 2022, 2023, 2024) with Hidden Wireless Apple CarPlay!

This video will detail how to install an Ottocast U2-AIR 2024 wireless CarPlay adapter in your Volvo XC40 Recharge. Below are the products that I used to achieve this almost hidden installation. Ottocast boots up in under 10 seconds and automatically connects and starts where you left off.
TLDR, you can easily remove the wireless charger cover + charger to reveal a space below the wireless charger where you can store your Ottocast or other wireless Airplay device. I walk you through removal, why you need a USB-C coupler, as well as installation.

Limitations of using CarPlay wirelessly instead of wired:
Driver dash display will not display maps from CarPlay (Google Maps, Waze, or Apple Maps). Workaround: Use maps/navigation from Android Auto OS (AAOS), switch between that and CarPlay for other activities. Steering wheel feature buttons will continue to work.
