Nice start to a great collection! Don't let these fools who say that their collections are better than yours bother you. You've got some great, rare cars. Keep chipping away and you'll have a great collection that you'll be proud of. I've been collecting since 2001. I started slow and cheap with only 1:64's and plastic chassis 1:24. 14 years later, I just surpassed 600 1:24 (607 to be exact) & 1100 1:64 (1123) this past Christmas. The key to growing the collection is:
1) Be disciplined when new cars come out. Wait, wait, wait!!! Every diecast seller says that every car they sell is going to sell out. That is total B.S. You'll save a ton of money by staying away from brand new stock. Stay disciplined. The brand new 2015 1:64 & 1:24 that sell for $8-10 for 1:64 and $65-100 for 1:24 can be purchased in 2017 for half those prices, less than half for 1:24 if you buy in bulk. There are a lot of very reliable diecast dealers on eBay that deal with old stock. It's not rare for me to buy 20-25 1:64's for $60-80, or 10-12 1:24 for $120-180.
2) the most important strategy: an understanding wife!
3) back to (1). In the extremely rare case that a particular car sells out or becomes an extremely rare car to locate, patience is the key, as well as realizing that the odd time you'll have to pay a premium for a rare car is much, much more than offset by the savings you'll have made buying two and three year old stock.
4) take advantage of people on ebay who don't realize the value of their own inventory. For example, over the years, I've been able to buy some extremely rare and otherwise expensive cars from people who didn't know how to price their items. People will often just check prices that others have placed on identical cars and decided on pricing by comparison. But if the car you want is so rare that it usually isn't on ebay, people just price based on other cars by the same driver. Here's an example of four Jeff Gordon cars I've bought over the past two years:
-2008 Jeff Gordon ELITE Nicorette White Ice. AUTOGRAPHED! $40! I've been offered $350 and $425 from two different people for that car!
-2009 Jeff Gordon Pepsi Talladega Waltrip Tribute. $50
-2010 Jeff Gordon "My Papa's Car" Designed by Gordon's Daughter Ella for JG Children's Foundation. $30
-2010 Jeff Gordon National Law Enforcement. Very rare, beautiful paint scheme...$15!!! Ridiculous.
5) go antiquing at the huge, barn like antique stores. Almost every large antique store I've been to has NASCAR memorabilia tucked away somewhere in the store. Those places need to fill shelves. There are only so many of Grandma's spoon collection and Grandpa's WWII memorabilia to go around!
I'd be happy to send you a picture of my collection. If you'd like, reply with your Twitter handle. If we then follow each other, then I can direct message you pics of my cars.
Hopefully this message is coming across sincerely. I hope very much that you don't mistake me for being some kind of show off.
Anyhow, if I can help you out in any way, let me know. You've got a great start here. You've actually got a couple that I don't have! Keep at it!
Hey buddy, I watched a few more of your videos. I didn't realize that you were a young kid. I'm still willing to help you out, but I'd prefer to send any information on twitter through your parents. If your mom or dad have a twitter account, and they'd like me to send them pictures of my cars, have them let me know.
Happy collecting!
I finally found it!

When the Bud and Miller cars have the driver's name instead of the actual brand logo, you know you got the kid's toy and not the adult collectible.

@@cjaxvr868 it’s not a custom, it was released in 2008 in the winners circle line
@@chibby__so then who drove it? (If it actually made it on a race track of course)
@@every4f888no one, was just a commemorative thing they did since the 2008 500 was the 50th
This video is full of 1 64 scale diecast which are $6. I have way more then this in 1 24 scale which is $60-100 so....
PttyBlue43 I bet you feel so proud
Those aren't 1 64 they are 1 87 which are alot rarer than the 1 24 so this is better than your 1 24

Get some 1/24 scale diecasts and then maybe it can be considered an okay collection. 1/64 scale diecasts shouldn't even be considered diecasts
Nick.A4 fuck u
Nick.A4 1/24 scale diecasts shouldn't even be considered diecasts
THEY ARE 1 87 SCALE!!!
DIECASTS ARE DIECAST!!!!!!
Nice BUT DEFINITELY NOT THE BEST. Where are the 1/24s? where are the autographs and memorabilia?
