Great guide. I have found the stacking tank buster can be mitigated by a single tank using enough of their own mitigation tools without resorting to invuln. Invuln is probably safer in some cases tho
Brain dead PS strat just have the TH at the clock spots while the dps in the middle. The dps will automatically be pulled to their partner. I find this strat a lot easier and it help those who are colourblind or cant remember where the PS signs are located.
@@WeskAlber unfortunately it is being called such here in Elemental DC. 😅 My FC progged it blind and used the colour strat initially but pug PF here eventually settled for TH clock strat to accomodate every players.
Every tank except PLD can invuln both stack-busters - the cooldown will be up before the second one even if you are not a WAR. Also if your OT tank is dead for Void Aero III you can still survive by invulning despite its 20+(30?) seconds vulnerability debuff - all you have to do is invulning two/three followup autoattacks, which are wind damage. After that the Barbie will be too busy casting anything else but autoattacks for a good next minute or so. MT doesn't need any direct healing as long as he is in range of AoE heals. Well, maybe DRKs do :D
Man, I am not sure I want to bother playing FFXIV anymore if these raids get harder and harder. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure there are people who love challenging themselves... but I'm not sure if I am one of those people. Turning 50 this year makes me slow down. 😮💨 Great video though.
@@WeskAlber I know this is the Extreme version, but I know the mandatory Hard version which you need to do to complete 6.2 is not going to be easy either. ;p
@@cicisstormshelter1076 It’s chaotic, but it’s manageable! You might wind up running around flailing like a muppet with its hair on fire, but it’s still a lot of fun!
Thank you so much for uploading a full video up to enrage too! It's very helpful after watching a guide to get a sense of how the timelines works.
Me, a healer after your intro: 👁👄👁
i cleared this fight as a blm and oh boy the pain, really fun though
I love how the rapid-fire nature of the fight's mechanics match Barb's aggressive personality.

My group progged this Sunday with a PF BLM... they actually did INCREDIBLY well. Might have just gotten lucky though!

This is an optional Extreme fight
