I enjoyed this. My grandparents and relatives going back to the 1600s were born , worshiped Worked and in Chesham

Lived there for a year 1980 before joining the army lived with my sister and family on Glenister road worked at Chesham flying services. Had an old friend Lou Johnson still remember him and his wife fondly.

Thanks for the views of Chesham. Very professionally excuted. Born 1947 and bred in Chesham, left in 1973, used to visit often, but not the town centre. So different now, but still brings back great memories as a child and teenager. Well done that camera "person"

Passing the old Police Station in Broad Street triggered memories. The town was so different in 1975 when I moved to Chesham. It seemed to lack in character with High Street pedestrianised. There used to be a nightclub up Station Road on the left. That looked as if it has been demolished. The likes of Cliffe Richard played there 😊

Thank you so much for this lovely film, enjoyed this walk with you. Bought back many happy childhood memories. Was born in Berkhampstead, and raised in Chesham. Was 8 years old when we left for Brisbane, Australia. Went back again in 2002 with my Kiwi husband. Chesham will remain in my heart forever.

For American viewers of this excellent film, that means 9 January 2022, not 1 September ! It gets dark by 16.30 hrs at that time of year so it shows Chesham just before darkness arrives in winter. Excellent film of the town centre - it doesn't include the park on the west side of the valley though.
