What a shame Royston is. I was born in Cambridge in 85, grew up on the outskirts of Royston from 85-95 as my Dad's office was in the town center. It wasn't a particularly nice place then but now its a 💩 hole. Breaks my heart to see the old toy shop on the highstreet has become a costa coffee🤦🏻‍♂️Also the old sweet shop run by Tony on Kneesworth St is yet another foreign take-away🤦🏻‍♂️ so many take-aways, barbers, betting shops, and just low quality shops in general now. I recognize the buildings, but the only original businesses from my childhood that are still there seem to be the banks, 'Ladds' on the highstreet, and also 'Market one'. Left the UK in 2002, I will never go back.

Finally I came to the UK 😊 watching your video and now walking the same roads 😊

Sunningdale looks bigger and with more stores than what Ascot had when I lived there and certainly bigger than how Sunninghill was. I wonder if I could live again there as it looks like a little London and I don't like London to live. By the way can you give the distance to Caracas, where I am living now? To the Metro Dos Caminos which is very near where I am. Is there any other Sunningdalean living in Caracas or I am the only one? Thank you very much, I would be happier that a dog waving two tails.

Lived here for 5 years. Unforgettable time

Royston had too many people, only one bank and 100s of nail shops and hairdressers. It’s a proper c rap hole of a town. Thank goodness for the Heath. It’s the best part of the town…great place to go when you’ve finished work
