- Baby Swimming - My First Swim: Here I am in my very first swim when I was just 9 days old. I started crying a bit but once I got used to the water I was as happy as a fish in the sea =)
My mummy always says that the first swim is always the most nerve wrecking one because it's something completely new. But once everyone starts getting used to it the real fun begins and you will enjoy it so much.

Well, let's be clear, the baby wasn't swimming...at...all.
Am I the only person who noticed the title vs the video? Baby on top of water until the very end for cpl seconds. Should be titled “baby floating”
Okay so I'm gonna be the "old-fashioned mom" here. This is a truly precious gift from God. All babies are that but I just couldn't put a baby of mine under any water anywhere when he/she was only a few days old. Most of the video is delightful as long as mom & dad are right there keeping baby on the surface of the water. Now I'm watching and thinking please don't put the baby under the water. I'm fine with it right up to the end and then they put the baby under the water. Scared me. Can't help it. Logically I know that many years ago I saw parents throwing (yes throwing) their babies into swimming pools and the babies could swim and did so. I've watched a few videos like this one and the babies can swim underwater but the youngest one was 6 months old. Still it scared me bc I think what if one of the babies for some reason doesn't swim and drowns? I realize that babies are floating around in mommy's tum tum for 9 months. I have a son myself. There's just always that thought in the back of my mind "what if?" I know I'm an old-fashioned mom and I'm certain I will always be. I know I can be a little overprotective as well but I'm from the "what if" old school of thought. God bless and protect all the water babies. 🏊👶🌊👶

I would be afraid of all the unfriendly bacteria that is in swimming pools. Doctors say to wait tell the baby is about 6 weeks before introducing newborns to any worldly germs so that the baby could build up there immune system. But it’s a joy to watch
T’ La’Shawn where i am from (im the baby’s mother) there is no start date. The pool is very well looked after (i have taught baby swimming there for the past 10yrs) and the chlorine actually kills all bacterias etc. the average age that babies start swimming with me is 3/4 weeks xx
Ya well if ur breastfeeding the baby shares moms immunity so this is completely nulled

Salt water is worse for babies. The chlorine and ph levels are neutral in the pool and they kill any harmful bacteria around so it is safe ☺️ (im that baby’s mother btw lol)

Im the baby’s mother (she is now 4yrs old and a very very strong swimmer) i have taught baby swimming for the past 10 years. The younger a baby is introduced the better it is as we are 9 months in water in the womb so this is something natural for us. As for the bellybutton as long as it is dried properly there is no problem x
Why is it necessary for a 9 day old baby to learn how to swim. If she ever finds herself in a situation where that is necessary, than you should be in jail for child endangerment. The only use for this is to get views on UA-cam. Selfish.
O. C. Hello.... you probably forgot about this comment haha. I am the baby’s mother (the one that comes out in the vid) my daughter is now 4yrs old and she swims full strokes (as in backstroke and freestyle with the correct technique). I have taught baby swimming since 2011 and have never and would never put a childs life in danger lol actually the complete opposite. If they would ever slip in to a pool or find themselves in a difficult situation they would know exactly what to do x

We people often think we are very smart ! That baby fell asleep! Way to small for the pool and for a swim ! Get real !!!
