- George North, Dan Douthart, and Jimmy Rocker tag team their respective skills to bring you a laminated ornament with inlaid silhouettes. Individual parts of this were brought to you earlier this year. This time all 3 presenters each do their own portion of a cooking show style presentation.
Recorded and presented in HD.

Really enjoyed the Silhouette ornament demonstration. Sorry I'm 8 years late :). Could someone please tell me in the last phase with Jimmy of laying out the cross drilling layout lines what size Forstner bit was used? Also, Jimmy mentioned a tool that he called a "Pin Mandrel". Have never heard of a Pin Mandrel except in Jewelry making and it doesn't show in any of the catalogs. Is this tool possibly called something else? Mounting the blank on the lathe for the final turning wasn't shown and that is why I have this question. Thank You in advance.......
Marked as liked and will reference many times..... Most excellent work Gentlemen....
What size dowel do you use and how is it removed after the turning is done
George - do you have a video posted on how you cut and place the inserts. This video is great showing how to attach to the core of the ornament, but I would also like to see a video on actually cutting the inset. Anyone else have any suggestions of possible videos. Thanks. Dennis Beamish

Am wondering about your ornament stands. What kind of pipe/tube is that and where do you get it from?

Was a woodworker, this was somewhat interesting to watch. As a videographer/editor, it was extremely painful to watch.
