- Requires quite high Renegade to pull this one off but as long as you play Renegade fully and get this event later on there should be no problem to do this

While the confrontation was inevitable, and Jack would be virulently sensitive about her experience, I found this to be a contrivance. They barely interacted beforehand.
I think Legion and Tali's confrontation would make more sense, if it didn't seem as though Tali instigated it. But if those are the only two, it's fine.

I brought miranda along with jack on her loyalty mission and it seems like the natural progression of things, but if you didnt bring miranda i guessed this kinda came out of nowhere
I played a Paragon Shepard and was able to get the Renegade option. This is from having a ME1 transfer file with the most possible "starting" Paragon/Renegade points and keeping my level low (i.e. completing both their missions early). An anomaly from ME2 is that your pesusation is scaled to your level. I did this because even though I lean Paragon, there is a lot of Renegade choices I liked better like the Renegade speech to the Admiralty Board.
Actually the renegade option is incredibly easy to get. I believe you only have to get the renegade bar to one for this outcome to be accessible

@Roelandtstorme: Yeah I have to agree with you there. Miranda is not my favorite character storywise, but she's a killer addition to any team and has way higher combat value than Jack, the so-called "ultimate" biotic.

@lordgluzman you need to get your renegade or paragon high up. then either dialogue options would be there. since you already picked jack side go talk to miranda but make sure your paragon or renegade is like almost full and choose one of the dialouge options on the left side
shoulda been an option for Shepard to whip out some popcorn and simply watch

even though i had the 95% paragon points but still my dialog options where grayed out so i took jacks side and i lost marinda's loyalty. But hey some how all my crew at end survived.
@scleland You can get extra hair and casual clothes by editing a file on the PC version
@frankothetanko58 Simple, hold off on Jack's loyalty mission until just before collecting the IFF mission. During the missions before that, aim for paragon or renegade decisions in conversations and such. For example, during dialog choices, the top-most choice will raise your paragon status while the bottom one will raise the renegade. The center option is more neutral, if you choose this one too often, you may not get the choice for a paragon/renegade decision here.
Where did you get that casual outfit? I dont remember that particular one.

@madd0gsquid I hope you're not talking about changing her voice actress, because that would be heresy. As for the sound I find it fitting for someone who has to command respect among her crew while still being feminine. What else could you ask for?

@Tonyfaster If you go back and talk to her with higher paragon/renegade you can get her loyalty back.
@VictumRoManius Same here. Might be why I let her die the first time I did the suicide mission. Well both her and Jack anyway. Everyone else lived in my first playthrough.

INCORRECT - My mom completed the game without the loyalty of Miranda or Zaeed. Everyone survived the suicide mission. She rubbed it in my face for days, mainly because I was telling her someone was going to die.
How did you get that uniform? It looks amazing and unlike any of the choices.
@VINNI0514 Beat the Suicide Mission, and only lost Jack. XD I honestly never assigned her to anything, she fell holding the line while me and my team attacked the Final Boss. I only used loyal, well-suited people for every task. I took Zaeed in disloyal but he got out of it alive since he never did anything, ironically enough.

Poor stupid me, I thought I could play my Insanity-run FemShep as a balanced human being with both Paragon and Renegade scores. Of course, this scene is an example of your punishment for daring not to just pick one track and stay to it like a religion; no diplomatic options. It especially bugs me because at least the Tali-Legion dustup was about something, but these two just decided now was the time to have a damn catfight, and because of it, someone's gonna die on the suicide mission.
This bit is kinda messed up! The first time I played I had almost full paragon and didnt have the option! But this time I played I hardly had any and was allowed to convince both :S
I wish you could play Cupid more in the game like with that adorable Krogan and Asari couple on Illium.
I think Miranda and Jack would make a great couple.

I only had the Back off, Maranda and too bad, Jack options, and went with the too bad Jack option. Is there anyway to get back Jack's loyalty?
How much paragon do you need to do the paragon option cuz I have one bar left of paragon.

its not true that it requires high renegade! (or paragon if you go for paragon). Solving this fight depends on where you are in the game at this point and how many P/R points you could have gotten at this time in total and how many you have. Either has to be at least 70% of the total you can have at that point in the game. The longer you wait, the harder it gets to solve the fight. The earlier you do it, the better. Also, maxing out your own special talent helps A LOT!

Everyone is asking an no one is answering: The costume and hair she is wearing are from Mods. You can only mod on PC.
PS: Miranda would drop Jack like a Toilet Seat (judging soley from their ingame stats, not Fanboy Logic or stupid cutscenes where Jack takes out 3 Ymirs in seconds...which she can never seem to do when I need her too on a mission!).

Your Sheperd's casual outfit doesn't look like the ones available in customization. Are you a member of the Nexus forums? If so, fellow member right here. High-five. I have the 360 version though.
Yeah, takes pictures... and use red eye reduction on Shepard's face. Then photo shop those nasty scars lol
On my first run through of the game, I was able to chose the paragon option and was able to maitain both Miranda and Jack's loyalty. On my second run through, I wasn't given a choice of either the paragon or renegade option and so, lost the loyalty of Jack when siding with Miranda. I wasn't able to gain Jack's loyalty back throughout the rest of the game and she DIED in the final mission whilst everyone else survived. Can anyone tell me how to make the options available so neither of them die?
I, for one, like that Shepard. I do, however, believe that's way too much make-up for a soldier.

Ha, I sided with Jack for some reason and Miranda was pissed at me for the rest of the game, and then she was the only one who died in the suicide mission. And that's why you stay on Shepard's good side.
