Speaking of which, how did the Eclipse mercs inject him? Maybe if they had a whole room pressurized, but that seems like a load of needless expense. And preparation. Be way cheaper and easier to just grab a random human or salarian off the street.
Lots of people give Mark Meer a hard time for his voice work as Male Shep, but this guy voiced so many characters in the game really, really well! The thing is, Mark Meer wasn't Bioware's first choice for Male Shep. He was just hired as a script voice or something, a kind of reference for the proper voice actor. But, since they couldn't find another voice actor, they ended up using Meer's voice in the first game. I think his vocal performances improve in the later games because Meer felt that he was voicing a proper character and not just reading a script for someone else, so he tries even harder. Either way, I actually really like Mark Meer as Shepard and probably wouldn't change the actor.
Greg Dobson His opinion is his opinion. If he likes Mark Meer as Shepard more than Jennifer Hale then you can't change that, much like I can't change your opinion that she's better than him as Shepard.
The deleted scene is Kasumi's placeholder model. Kasumi was partially in the game when it was released, the rest of her dialogue and real model was added along with the DLC.
I just found out the biotic god was voiced by mark meer. Why am I only finding this out now? Now I'm imagining it's a mini maleshep inside that suit and I can't shake the image.
If Javik was there... Speaking to Cal: Your partner did not report your absence so he can leave early. Face it, volus; you have been betrayed. / Advising Shepard: Commander, sending this volus to fight is not worth it. Let's just throw him out the airlock later. / After Cal leaves: Such a disillusioned primitive...
This is the same guy that voiced maleShep??? Wow... I am never saying anything bad about Mark Meer's voice acting ever again. The people directing him for Shep tho...
Femshep is a more believable voice for going out for dinner and drinking and making small talk. But the real shep is more believable when it comes to rallying the entire universe and giving a speech to admiral Hacket, and whooping a reapers ass
@@tobe1207 nah, Jennifer Hale has a really confident and commanding voice and cadence and easily works for Shepard's heroic moments, not just the more lowkey conversations.
Anyone else catch the fact that Thane's comment might likely be a "Princess Bride" reference? When Wesley knocks out the giant, he says "I do not envy the headache you will have when you awake. But for now, rest well and dream of large women".
This is totally a Firefly moment: "Yes, yes this is a fertile land and we will thrive. We will rule over all this land and we will call it.... This Land." Please someone tell me they caught it too.
I get the distinct impression that Thane's line, "Sleep well and dream of bulbous women." is a reference to the line from Princess Bride, "Sleep well and dream of large women." after the Man in Black incapacitates Fezzik.
The fact that Thane quotes the Princess Bride is only further proof that he is the best ME2 love interest. Goddammit I love Thane. Zaeed's dialogue on this mission is pretty funny too lol.
I like watching these videos cause it helps you see each characters personalities shine through. Jack, Legion, Kasumi, and Zaeed definitely feel the most like individuals, with the most unique things to say.
Everyone telling the volus to sleep well, telling Shepard 'Nicely done' or saying 'So much for godhood.' Legion: "The first thing a god masters is itself."
This is one of those moments where they all say the same thing in a different way instead of unique dialog but it’s crazy how much they have to change each one to make it suit their personality more. What a nightmare to write so many characters and possibilities lol.
"Sleep well, and dream of bulbous women" I just laughed so loud when I heard that, I literally loled, especially to him saying it to female shepard. "Fifteen creds says the little guy doesn't get five steps in before the merc explodes him" That was my second favorite. "Shepard, Want me to kneecap this guy so he doesn't follow us around?" is probably my third favorite I'm surprised that the reaction to sending the volus to certain death wasn't recorded. Overall.... HILARIOUS!
He goes down fighting, at least. Didn't he throws a warp or a throw before getting blown off? He wasn't a biotic but mustered enough dark energy to do that. Showing that the true biotic masters are the volus, not the asari
Spec0pleader this was uploaded before her dlc so it was added in later, but without her character model. You probably figured it out, but just in case you didn't.
