"... and Mr Wanker lived on to be a 120 years old. He even pranked the nurse on his deathbed. He died a bitter old man rotten to the core. And the moral of the story is: there is none. Happy Wookie Life Day!"
Thank God some of the people the Left have tried to cancel are too rich for them to do so and therefore have the power to fight on behalf of the rest of us. Gina Carano was too hasty to reveal she had a backbone and a moral compass.
I didn't realize that "Holidays in Jerkville" wasn't American - they dubbed all the voices! Dick Van Dyke played all the parts. We used to watch it every Orphan [sic] Kicking Day. It's nice to see the original.
IMO the best Christmas program ever made could've been Claymation Christmas Celebration, but they cut the part about bleeding and dying in the stone cold tomb from We Three Kings, even though it's the biggest part of the Jesus thing (If you believe in that kind of stuff. But I don't believe in that kind of censorship, and the story isn't complete without it.)
I laughed way too hard at "Urchin Kicking Day". Guess I'm gonna have to move to Wankertown now. Also, ABK, what CAN'T you do? Leave some talent for the rest of us!
It's not always aliens. I can remember one time back in the 1940s where it was just nanites forcing everyone to wear gas masks and ask for their mummies.
I think you may be confusing that for when the Martians invaded. Nasty event, but if I recall it didn't happen in winter. I've heard they're still trying to clean up patches of the red weed to this day.
Well, the animation style is basically the 1975 Paddington TV show. And it's obviously a parody of A Christmas Carol. I'm not sure how much else there is to explain.
As a bonus, he looks a little like Burl Ives' "Snowman Sam" from the Rankin Bass Rudolph canon crossed with a really lanky Christmas sugar cookie to give the impression that he is cut from the same cloth as Mr Ebeneezer Scrooge of Dickensian fame. Much of the "plot" present follows in that spectral Christmas Carol, right down to the "grave revelation" he receives at the end. That no moral was learned by the end is an _especially_ British punchline, for reasons that I will leave to an actual Brit to explain.
the origanal Urchin Kicking Day was around feb/april but they changed it to get the people who celebrated poor people kicking day to start celebrating it
