Hey Andy very nice yes it’s called the swamper look and they look very good 👍 I havnt any experience in doing them myself but I’m sure there’s plenty online to help you.
Not sure if they do a 4x4 caddy but that would be a good start
Ah yea, I had a bit of galv pipe splinter off into me eye once, never felt pain like it and I wear full on ski goggles now anytime I cut anything! Nice turnout at the meet 😊

Mate feel your pain with the eye I had same myself a long time ago. I do like than v2 front end . I am build my caddy in my head . When i finished my transporter . You know how it is do we ever finish them😂😂😂 . Keep pushing thro bud . See you soon . I’m out 🤙🏽
Ah mate I’ve had it loads but always manage to get it out myself, not this time. Ye the v2 front are cheap aswel I’ll keep my eyes open for Andy. The best part of owning a vehicle is doing it up then soon as they done something else pretty comes up 😂👍
Roof bars definitely set it off, black roof would make it look better! Not tempted to do something crazy like doing a sunroof install?

For the glovebox you can just buy a lid that opens like the touran one from van x. Love the videos might bring my British Gas camper up to a meet soon

Hey nice meeting you last Wednesday mate it’s my red caddy @12:50 I’m not sure it’s the original colour although it is a vw colour tho it’s ruby red what they used on the 1966 beetles 👍I’m planning on changing the colour soon tho I’m not 100% yet

Haha the squints do sometimes work but it’s always when you say it’s ok it’s just one cut. I’m only just getting over the sore eye so I will try my best to wear them 🙏👍
I love this - 30 seconds in - yeah its complete with those bars, half way through - i still have the arch kit etc etc etc… its never ending when you own a van ❤

Andy was so proud turning up in his own van I was pleased for him, yep wanna be DJ’s 😂 nevermind. I know I’ve only to been to a handful of meets is surprising it’s been going that long.
@@YTDTETV it’s a bit of a hike for me…..lol, just a return ferry trip, 600 mile round trip from Heysham to bluewater, and a night stop over, but I’m going to turn up one day….before I upgrade from my caddy to something bigger, shes 12 in a months time, still not hit 70k…and not looking as good as she did at Trax in 2019 , but I would be made up to do just one weds night meet…..👍🇮🇲👌

I drilled little holes and used little white cable ties to the grill 👍
Have you tinted the windows more too?
So the guy in the tiny place said shal we go full dark with the rear windows I said ye ok, I did them get the lightest of tints on the front windows but didn’t want to promote that as I know it’s abit frowned upon.

CarPro Perl for the tyres…..if you want the “ non too shiny” no fling , look…..👍😉🇮🇲. Ps and CarPro Re-Load for giving her a protective shine when she’s washed, you can use it wet as a drying aid , or as a Detailer when dry…..not the cheapest , but you use less of each , so more economical 👍😜👌🇮🇲

Get yourself Stjarnagloss Gummi put it on leave it for 5 min and go over with a microfiber towel and you will be amazed. I tried a bunch of them but Gummi really stands out.

Hey Paul I pulled the locator tabs out the back of the grab handles with a pair of mulgrips then just little black self taping screws straight in no pre drill just straight in. They are nice a solid 👍

@@YTDTETV yh I'm gonna do same as I don't like them bits on look bit messy did you just use a shap knife to take off I got a pair for 17 quid and if u change your mind takin on some work give me a shout as I want my van painting in some places as it really bugs me
I once waited 8 hours to get a tiny piece of metal out of my eye. And when it came to it she used a needle 😅. I now wear full safety goggles
