I agree with you mate, English football is much less passionate than it used to be, the higher English leagues obviously has better quality on the pitch than all the Scottish leagues but the atmosphere is dead since most working class folk can't afford to go and see their teams anymore, so the stadiums are just full of families and middle class folk. The lower English leagues have more passion then the Premier league. Scottish football fans are class and create an atmosphere, even your biggest teams do which can't be said for English teams these days.

Scottish football definitely has more passion, English football used to be as intense back in the 70's, 80's and the 90's.
Most of the passion in English football now is in the lower leagues.

None of the premier league derbies have the intensity or history of even hibs v hearts, not even mentioning the old firm.
