Both Prospects we got for Leiter Jr are Rule 5 so... The Closer has had a 2.80era across Double A- Trip A this year so you replace your top closer prospect, but he's gotta play. The untility kid, idk, be a leap for a team to Draft and keep him on the 40. I like him.

So even though it was an overpay for Paredes, these are the kinds of moves that need to be made for the betterment of the team. We may regret in a few tears, but if Isaac performs to his career standard, then its a win win. The deep farm system makes this overpay easier to absorb.

Who would you rather have traded with the pitchers they gave up? Bigge or hodge or Arias or Leigh? Then Ty Johnson, Wiggins, gray, birdsell, McCullough, sanders, mule? Thanks

If I could have gotten Paredes for Morel, Arias, and Mulé, I would have pulled that trigger

Cowels is out for season with a broken wrist.

That news came in soon after we stopped recording. Really strange twist thrown into that trade.
