My son was in prison for awhile.I became part of a group of mothers who’s sons are all incarcerated. Some for relatively minor sentences (under 5 years) to those on death row. When your child goes to prison, it feels like a death. Contact is very limited, etc. But for those mothers whose sons have committed serious crimes, such as unaliving someone, or they’re a Stephen Sterns type of criminal, those poor mothers. They are suffering the emotional “death” of the child they thought they had, and are left instead with this evil individual who is their child They feel shame, guilt, heartache, depression, and everything in between. Many of the mothers have to be discouraged from pamperin their incarcerated sons. Some send their sons high $ amount into their canteen balances every month. I saw mothers nearly lose their house because they’re sending their sons so much money! Some are conned out of money by their sons or their son’s cellmates.

@@TeaWildflowers Most of us feel that way. Until it’s our son. Your son becomes “dead” to you, only they are not. They are alive and out of your reach. To know they have committed such a heinous act(s) is unbelievable, when all you can picture is that innocent child you gave birth to. The memories of your child clash with the reality before you. The mothers feel guilt, shame, heartache, sorrow, anger, and everything in between. You don’t want them comfortable, yet also can’t imagine their suffering. Prison is a dangerous place and to be Stephen Stern’s mother, and know he will be the target of other inmates is so much to bear. Imagine sending your toddler into a lion’s den. That is how it feels to be the mother of an incarcerated criminal. It doesn’t matter what he did, the emotions are still the same for the mother. I have no doubt she is so torn between loving him and hating him. Then he is guilting her and playing on her emotions to provide him with comforts. He knows his mother well. I hope she is seeking counseling, or gets connected with other mothers of incarcerated sons, so she can get support, because he is going to play her the rest of his days. Then, on top of it, is the emotions she feels regarding Madeline, Jennifer, etc. It is a lot, and I know she has guilty feelings in there. “What could I have done differently?” And all of that. Many mothers of people like Stephen Sterns un-alive themselves due to the sheer guilt and despair they feel.

I had a lifelong friend who's younger brother had head injury in auto accident. Almost died.
When he recovered, his personality was totally different. Esp when comes to sex, women, & whats appropriate. Now, he didn't turn into a deviant, but you would think he was one if you over heard the way he talked abt females after his recovery.
He eventually calmed down those spontaneous descriptive outbursts (best way to describe). Mostly because (we) women that already knew him would check him.
So, head injuries CAN change the brain. Thank goodness my experience was minimal. ✌️

One parent is VERY ab*sive and the other parent is passive and sweeps all the family secrets/ab*se under the rug. If you’d like to see an example, look no further than SS as the ab*sive parent type and Jennifer as the passive one that looks the other way. They attract each other like magnets. You don’t become a narcissist or sociopath by chance. It takes REALLY bad parents to make that happen. Parents like Jennifer Soto.

A parents love for their child does not disappear when they commit a crime, even unspeakable crimes. There are parents who show support for their child who murders a sibling, or their other parent. They will always see the sweet baby they held in their arms. Its hard to fault them for that. As long as they don't overlook the crime itself, which seems impossible to do. I wonder if his parents found things on his computer when he was a teenager, as ped0phelia doesn't just pop up in adulthood. Maybe they tried counseling, maybe they tried talking to him about it. Maybe they did nothing. It's sad that Sterns' parents seem to love their child more than Jenn Soto ever loved hers. Jenn Soto is a monster, too. She forced her young daughter to sleep with an adult male. She knew what Madeline was enduring, and in her sick mind she was probably jealous of her, leading to her carelessness and rudeness towards her own child. She has no right to be called a mother, only a monster. At the very LEAST, Jenn needs to be charged with endangering the welfare of a child from age 8 - 13, and permitting or facilitating SA and child abuse.

North Port PD better get their act together before trial, and amend their Life Storage report to reflect a search of CORRECT STORAGE UNIT(S) by accurate number. This prosecution can tolerate no stupid mistakes in documentation by any law enforcement agency, which might allow this vile animal any leeway whatsoever!
Did Christopher Sterns lease multiple Life Storage units? Police documentation variously cites Unit B24 and Unit B124.
Which is it, North Port Police Department?
Zero tolerance for investigatory/evidentiary/documentary error. It would be tragic to see a wealthy family get their depraved son off on some avoidable technicality.

I have my personal theory, about SS and his parents.(I might be wrong through, since I don't know them at all.)
No one is born as a monster. Maybe he was born with a "certain desire" (what UA-cam hate to name) but his upbringing might play a special role here. He might have learned early on that "No" isn't actually "No" and whatever he did "wrong" means negative attention on him, but had no real consequences. Mum and Dad might be angry but fix it. They might complain, that he can't hold a job, but giving him a room and money. They might be disgusted to hear that Stefan installed cams in the bathroom but at the very same time, they paid the victim to silence complaints. I bet they know about their son's deviant behaviour, but looked the other way.
When Maddie disappeared, they realised that their son might go too far...and hit right at that moment really hard. That the mum thought Stefan might hide Maddie on their property speaks for itself. And so it makes sense (in a twisted way) why they be so nice to him in jail, still gifting him books and coffees...
Thank you very much, Gisela, for presenting the documents to us!!!

I think to understand somewhat the way the parents have been towards Sterns since him being charged and incarcerated looking at interviews and reading the book by Dahmer's father can give some insight. It is a concern that it would appear at least the mother knew somewhat of her sons behaviour and perversions well before the murder. Being in a strong state of denial can be very powerful and often but not always be broken until the person is hit head on with realities.

I find it ironic that Debra Sterns had the same initial reaction that a bunch of UA-camrs did upon hearing about all of this. "It's Jennifer Soto's fault! She's the bad guy". Oh well, at least she hasn't been grifting off it and making non-descript allegations for superchats . Hey, since you brought up the fact that Sterns, like all high profile killers end up getting a fan club, do you think there's a case study here? The giant mob that's spent six months demonizing Madeline's mom more than the guy that abused and murdered her could feed into the mentality that Sterns is being unjustly prosecuted somehow? And Sterns was actually the victim of Jennifer Soto? Seems to me the two modes of thought might overlap on a venn diagram.

I believe so. According to Dr Gary Brucato these behaviors escalate. It starts small and grows into obsessions.

@@SheezaPI Thx. Allegedly Stephan @ age 13 was peeping into the bathroom of his friend's Mom. When she was showering. Hoping to get a pic. Justice for Madeline⚖️🙏🏽❤️

Makes me wonder if his mom walked around in front if him or did inappropriate things in front of him (i.e., dressed, etc.) until he was of an age he searched for it outside the home.
He was supposedly peeping at women and not little girls so made me think directly of his mom and not his dad.
Would be curious to know if he endured any CSA around or before that age.
