    Have you travelled in High Speed trains before? I haven't, but after seeing this new train I really want to now. Even going on the current train from Moscow to St. Petersburg would be so interesting. Let me know if I should do it.

      only time I rode those was at light rail transit in Manila. You have to see Philippines getting it's first subway by 2028 all thanks to tue efforts from the previous administration

    To most people in the west this would be unexpected. Because information is "filtered" here we have no idea about real life there. Happy for Russia and its people. Thanks for these real time views of life there. P.S.: the primary state in the west doesn't have high speed trains. Not one.

      To be honest. We can see this, but we can also see the poor part of russia. I dont think many westernes are that impressed of this. It is kind of normal. And we also know that russel is russian propaganda. Because he only shows the good part of russia.

    A Russian company is also building these trains in india in the name of Vande Bharat. Over 200 trains have been built till now by the Russian company.

    LOL here in Los Angeles we were suppose to have a train that goes straight to Vegas, and that plan was 20 years old and still not even a single track laid down. And there still pushing high speed train to Vegas even to this day. Yet Russia has next generation trains, have an actual train to show you and then a date of when you can take it.

      And how about high-speed train from LA to San Francisco. I think they already spent billions on it, and yet there is no high-speed train between LA and SF.
      I thought they promised to finish high-speed rail to Las Vegas in four years right before Olympic games in LA.

      Не ходят скоростные п.оезда в Китае со скоростью 500км/час, а ходят иногда, чуть больше триста, а обыкновенно и меньше! Единственный поезд в Китае, который действительно идёт более 400км/час - это поезд на магнитной подушке , из аэропорта Шанхая! Что касается, вообще китайских скоростных поездов, то теоретически могут ходить и под 500, но не ходят, есть определённые ограничения! Сапсан, который ходит из Москвы в Петербург, тоже может ходить далеко за 300 км/час, но только по специальной скоростной дороге, а так как, пока приходится ходить по общей железной дороге, то сильно ограничен в скорости, на не более 240км/час

      It's mostly state owned that's why Moscow transport works for the benefit of the population, and not driven to churn shareholder ROI.

    Wow, Russia is seriously modernizing its network of trains and buses. But, I believe they should make a serious effort to connect the network of trains to their less populated r regions in Russia. Such as Siberia. Imagine taking a high-speed train directly to Siberia? That would open a whole new world of financial and travel options for everyone in Russia.

      I have a friend also in Bishkek. I was there last year if you might remember. Of course if i come back to visit, i am going to meet up with you. Why are the bathroom experts so slow there, who knows. It keeps them employed i guess. work too fast and your out of a job quicker.

    To help you visualize traveling at 400Kph think of jumping out of an airplane without opening a parachute, the velocity will stabilize at what is called terminal velocity.
    If you can imagine that, then double that speed and you will be approximately in the Ballpark.

    No disability section/access?? Though I noticed the train opposite the new one, had a wheelchair symbol on the outside.
    The electric bus was amazing, pleased to see the accessibility. Something that’s very slow coming to my area in the East of England 😊

    I put up with trains here in Australia but I do not like buses. I'd rather pedal one of my bicycles. I had to catch a bus every day to school.

      Зимой прекрасно ходят в Санкт-Петербург скоростные поезда сапсаны , со скоростью и 240 км /час и им не мешает якобы снег на путях! Пути постоянно чистят специальные поезда! Поэтому, не пишите глупости!

      Transport geeks. You would be shocked at how many young people are out and about on public transport in Russia. wanting to see new trains and buses. Even on the weekend, they get together and travel on the different types of vehicles.

      It's a common thing in Russia, a lot of the trains are named after birds. This was only an example of the train, there will be 8 or 10 carriages.

      People stare not because of the language but because of the volume. Sometimes Russell can be too loud. If a Russian did the same, they'd stare at him as well. It's not customary to be load. Same in the US.

    Ходил бы он ещё везде. А тотна мцд4 до сих пор электрички с 90х годов ходят. И электробусы еще не везде(

      Если бы вы были более взрослый, возможно вы бы знали такую вещь, что нельзя заменять вагоны в один год за раз. Это не разумно. Завод производящий вагоны заменяет их постепенно. По степени ротации и износа. Вы никогда не увидите замену одновременно всех поездов за один месяц со старых на новые. Потому что поломки поездов тоже будут начинаться одновременно. И это создаст проблему. Когда одновременно выйдут из строя все поезда. И вторая проблема, мощность завода не позволяет заменить их одновременно, что в общем и не требуется по первой причине. Единственное в чем можно согласится, у нас есть яма из 90ых годов, когда поезда вообще не заменялись, и возможно по этой причине ещё есть совсем убитые составы. Но это отголосок времени правления либералов и Ельцина, которыми руководили напрямую из США. У США не было задачи в те годы улучшать инфраструктуру в России. Их задача была вывозить капиталы и ресурсы из России.

      @@ellidano это замечательно, но на мцд 4 я вообще не вижу новых поездов. Только красные, желтые и обновленные жёлтые. Этих расхвавленных Москва 2020 или как их там нет ни одного

      @sylionproduction9193 Это не будет так дорого. Если вы не выберете VIP-вариант для поездки. Вы всегда можете воспользоваться поездом дальнего следования, если вас не устраивает цена.

      Купе, наверное, столько и будет стоить, но для 2-часового поезда это как бизнес-класс в самолете. Обычные сидячие места дороже 5к за билет до Питера быть не могут. Иначе на этом поезде просто никто ездить не будет.

      @@tukituki7680 да ладно? Дак Сапсан как вариант и сейчас будет стоить порядка 8000. А то можно спойконо отдать даже 10 000. Просто я к тому веду, что это всё должно быть доступно для всех категорий граждан. На самолёте вон, 2500 победой и то дешевле. Голову мою не трожьте, я же вашу не трогаю верно?
