I just got one after a long time of thinking of buying anyways I did a more simple mod with out opening the unit stick a wood chip that fits and make it hold down the lock and that worked for me hehe now it would’ve been great to have a slow and fast heat for application that requiere less heat , and then we’ll after all just pull the gun father out the project and solution solve hehe . I would’ve try to compare to corded but it does a great job for its usages

I would think your finger gets tired after sometime holding the trigger ..., just to make it work . Obviously that would make for a long day ...
