Noticed the mob right away , did a boardslide on a rail my feet stuck like glue, noticed the grip too with new vans as well , shuv it's were catching sticky
Mob grip tape was my first ever grip tape and It was really grippy at the start but over time it was still good but it got really dirty. It made it where the girp on it was really bad and harder to do tricks on. What I’m saying is that Mob grip tape can wear down easily when it's dirty. Unless you use a grip cleaner. I couldn't afford that at the time but still. Mob gets dirty easily, same with Thrasher. I’ve also had Shake Junt grip tape, the one I’m currently using actually. It is REALLY grippy. I’ve had it for a couple months now and it's still grippy like it was brand new. When I’m doing transition, I warm up with some stalls and others. When I get my trucks locked in, my feet perfectly stay in the spot they should be in. I have never slipped out doing a stall. And when I say stall, I mean Feeble and other ones. Shake junt is really good. But now I’m trying Grizzly grip tape. The splattered black one. By watching this video, I’m hoping it's good and is as good as Shake junt. Just saying this is all IMO

Black magic has always been my favorite. The shit destroys the hell out of your shoes, but it's worth it to me for the grip it provides.
I personally prefer grizzly but the only bad thing about grizzly is that it ruins my shoes within a week or two
Why do you prefer it then? There's plenty of good grip tape out there that won't shred your shoes so quickly.

Black Magic 4 life been skating it for the past 15 years and nothing else. As for grip thumb, I have a callus built from years of skating.
I have actually heard terrific things about black magic griptape. I can definitely look into it to make a review or do a comparison video

In my opinion shake junt is good because it’s in between grizzly and mob on how grippy it is and it lasts awhile

For an 8.25 I’ve never had griptape not fit. But you can also see the dimensions online or see if it fits at your skateshop
