I spent 6 hours trying to remove a pin from a Denso 2 pin connector. After watching numerous useless videos, I finally came across yours and I had the connector out in 30 seconds. Thanks for the cutaway view and the effort you took to show us the inside latch clipping the connector in place.
That’s fantastic! I’m glad that it helped you out! Some connectors can be pretty tricky, even if you have the right tools to do them! Good luck on your project!
Over the past two days I've watched about 20 videos 20 times each about getting pins out of the wire connector going to my speed sensor. Countless hours wasted and countless unsavory words exchanged. After this video I got it out the first try you just saved me $45 dollars thank you so much.
Very helpful, I had to de-pin the park-neutral safety switch connector on my honda after a rodent chewed thru the wires. Soldered new wires to pinned wires, plugged back in, started right up
Haha! Thank you. I really appreciate it. If you like this maybe you would like my other wiring videos too? This is my personal favorite! ua-cam.com/video/Yz9kqxWkoHI/v-deo.html
@Ratty Muscle Car any chance your in Florida? LoL I got a project that I need help with. Due to recent surgeries, I'm limited on my ability to complete her.. 72 Camaro
Also, I'm converting oem head & tails to LED's... Any info or suggestions of anything I may need to add on after I rewire entire car with modern Painless Wiring ATC style fuse block? I got the kit with extra slots for add ons too
@@mobileautorepairs2169 - I am waaaay up here in Massachusetts where the weather is cold and the cars are rusty. Sadly that’s a bit too long of a commute for me to work on your car. ;)
@@mobileautorepairs2169 - you’ll want an LED flasher, but other than that, it should be all the normal wiring most likely. I’ve used the LED flashers from Amazon that are like $8, and they do the job. You just have to make sure they aren’t wired backwards. They only work one way. www.amazon.com/shop/rattymusclecar/list/3LN3FHYBGH
I've watched and rewatched your wiring a car videos. They are so amazing. How ever, only 1 video I watched had the dummy light, and none included those tiny dash lights in the gauge cluster or warning lights. Any chance you could maybe do a video for these? I'm gonna rewire my whole car this month ( 1975 mopar ) and it would help me finish out the rest you haven't covered. Keep the great videos coming.
Hi, you have a lot of good videos for wiering 👍😀. I planing to wiering my old Datsun and will follow yours. But have you this in paper? When I finish look a video I already forgot what you have done 🙄😁😁
Sadly I think it is different for every car maker, so this information is not in any single place. Maybe I’ll work on building out this information though.
Hey, I've been watching some of your videos. I recently installed LEDs on my bike, and got an LED relay for them. It works, but if I don't take out the blinker pilot light, all four signals start blinking no matter which direction I push the switch. Could you make a video explaining why that is?
That’s because the blinker light on the handlebars is connected to both the L and the R directionals. So when either side is turned on, it passes the power from one side to the other. Normally the switches in steering columns of cars manage that, but if you’re doing something custom, you may need some diodes to make it work. Honestly, I’ve never tried though. So I’m not entirely sure.

Doing a cutaway of a PLASTIC connector, and still showing the moving clip. Stellar!
Thanks! I’m glad you liked it!

super informative bought a expensive set of removal tools and this beats those hands down pulling corroded pins from a flood vehicle
Haha! I am glad it helped, good luck with the project!
Wow, that was super! You demystified the depinning process with basic tools. You're a lifesaver. Now i won't havee to destroy a pigtail.

Afternoon, is there a tell all diagram for connectors and pins or is it hand down from one person to the next.
Sadly I think it is different for every car maker, so this information is not in any single place. Maybe I’ll work on building out this information though.

Do you have a video on using led bulbs? I'm having an issue using the led bulbs seem to feed power back
I do have a variety of videos about LED lights. Check out this playlist, toward the bottom ua-cam.com/play/PLsF7T1tRFy2hmiiUUfMZNyV-BUA_yrPIh.html
What would this be called on the 2019 Kia forte s ?
What kind of connector is this called?
"Hair Clip"? . . . Bobby Pin . . . and I believe the Brits call it a kirby grip.
I’m a bald guy, so I dunno what the heck it’s called. Lol. Thanks for watching!
Robert pin…. Bobby pins are for girls. Girls don’t de-pin connectors.
Can you show how to de pin a motorbike CDI/ control module
Unfortunately I don’t have one available to make a video on, so I’m probably not much help for you. Sorry about that.
Make a video how to wire up ford door lock
❤
👍😎👍
What happens if you break the clip🤦♂️ inside do you have a part number for that clip 🫣
I sure don’t, but wirecare is known to be a reputable company that probably has them. Here is a link www.wirecare.com/
I don't see it on there ☹️
