I've been watching skate videos for 20+ years and this is one of those parts where you have to stop and go "what tf is actually going on here?" This dude defies physics. This shit literally gave me goosebumps.
I feel you. Im 43 now. Skating since my 13th birthday. This Part is one of the parts that gives you goosebumbs. Like the Plan b way and mckay parts around 95/96? Or the dc vid
This dude, Clay Kreiner, and Jimmy Wilkins are really pushing the boundaries past what seems possible. And they've clearly mastered skating, not just a type of skating. Used to be a vert guy couldn't skate street and/or vice versa. These guys hit street spots just as hard. Unbelievable skating.
What!? This kid only skates transition. He's good at it, but thats it. This part had no ledge skating, no manuals, no rails, no lines, no stairs or any kind of gap, no hill bombs, barely any flip tricks at all, and only a few switch tricks. This was part was literally all banks and parks. Hes very good at park skating park and mega ramps, but to say he's "mastered skating" is very exaggerated.
@@ythan5245 barely any flip tricks??? Hes doing some of the hardest flip and flip out tricks in the game. There are a lot of street spots in this clip, I'm honestly convinced you didn't just watch the same video. Literally half of his tricks were done switch as well, including flip tricks. Theres a line were he does like 3 switch tricks in between. Please actually watch the video before you just run your mouth.
@@MultiDragola i watched it. I said it was all banks and transition. Street or not, its banks and transition. There are people (me) who focus mostly on flip tricks, and ledge skating. Obviously the part was really good. I'm saying you cannot claim he's "mastered skating" when there's massive styles of skating there not represented in this video. If you said ishod has mastered skating it would make more sense. That dude can literally skate anything. Transition, and street. Tom is good at skating TRANSITION AND BANKS. There wasn't anything else in this video.
was just coming here to comment this, reminds me of the old plan b danney way and clan mckay vert footage of them just putting down crazy trick after crazy trick on the craziest vert ramps with how good this footage is and the footage from clay kreiner and jimmy wilkins is also top notch man, so much good vert skating
Such amazing switch abilities on huge transition. Burnquist, Colin McKay, Danny Way vibes with serious new era gnarliness. Sloan, Kreiner, Schaar, Pace, Fletcher....just a few of these new school rippers that really push transition skating to new extremes.
Chris is killing the game, pro skater, films for thrasher, films x games, films Tony Hawk, and even films BMX videos. Once you start to notice him, you see him everywhere.
This part flew under the radar for me. This needs to blow up. His skating is at another level. My jaw was at the ground the entire vid. I only found this from QS Five Favorite Parts from Tony Hawk. Thanks Tony
Dude! That was sooooo gnarly. That opener was death-defying and the ender was twisting your in the general area of a piece of wood like 40 ft off the ground without a grab. I thought the blasted switch ollie to regs was buck af too, but he one upped himself w that ender... sheeeeeeesh!
So happy we're seeing these monster transition parts. The best part of the year so far (Kreiner) was already mainly transition, and now we've got yet another to add to the growing collection!
Shocked at what i just saw!! I've been sk8'n since 84! Never have I thought "He's number 1"... But... Those words popped into my head quite a few times with this one!!! OMG!!!!! Beyond killed it!!!
All these tricks look like they FEEL perfect. I’m watching this and matching up daydreams I’ve had with the reality of seeing them come to life. Flow state fuel. Graceful and pure.
this part should have a million views by now... This is full shred, I've been waiting for another person that rips street and transition/mega ramp, like Danny and Burnquist. very very good!
Damn… the way he hammered Sean Davis death blow trick from BATB 12 into the megaramp as an ender! That pressureflip underflip was even steezier than Seans
@Tomtom Shankly Nothing really. I saw the Element graphic so....thanks for letting me know he's on Birdhouse. All the same, I wouldn't mind seeing him ride for a deluxe company. Birdhouse went out of business once for a reason in my opinion.
@Tomtom Shankly Like I said, just my opinion. Besides, outside of social media, what has Birdhouse done? Kinda been awhile since "The End". They still sell boards at Walmart, kinda like the Heart Supply.
It's basically super-human. It's the kind of skating that first leaves you impressed, then makes you jaded and angry because of how it's not just next level, it's just far beyond anything you could even conceive accomplishing, which makes your whole life seem tiny. I mean, it's a really good part. But I hate him.
This is one of those parts where literally every trick is a banger.
Holy god tom is getting so good, i can see him winning park and vert comps in the future
Yeah wtff
i kept waiting for that whalenburg cole montage and every trick was bigger than el toro.
he is one of the greatest transition skaters ever ,the tricks he does are very hard tricks
Insane. Every trick was heavy. Can’t believe the level that skating is at right now
Every day my mind is blown. These guys are Fucking mental n
First one, no way I would do that..scarry asf
Holy god tom is getting so good, i can see him winning park and vert comps in the future
Agreed, we have defied gravity, speed and physical levels.
I remember watching miltons part demolition, and thinking it doesn’t get any heavier. Next step is death sooo gnarly

literally. I caught myself multiple times during the video saying "wait what the fuck did he just do?" out loud

Like the Plan b way and mckay parts around 95/96? Or the dc vid
Dreamland level of insanity
Love it when a vert part gets me hyped! He should be in the SOTY conversation this year, cause that was heavy
Park/vert skaters will never be soty. FACT
@@MrStripecker gotta love it when you end a factually incorrect statement with "FACT"

Honestly do not think ther will be a heavier part than Tom's this year, SOTY 🤯

Chris Gregson's filming ability will be talked about for a long time, no one else is able to do it like him.
Tom's skating's not too bad either 😉
only thing that's bothering me is this dying trend of super 8 (old camera) b roll, it's the same in all vids nowadays...
@@MannyVideosCZ it’s overused, but I still like it.

I thought and wrote the same. Had the same feelings. Feels like the old way and mckay plan b parts.
I bet even Danny Way was like "No Way!" when watching this, Burnquist too, just wow...
Tom Gnaar

WOW Epic Part !!! That SS Pop ?! :O
the filmers & editor absolutely nailed this, what a part 🔥

1 of the best skaters that skate everything there is! just wow!!!!
Much love from Switzerland

Bangers and a country track, god bless.
This is so good. I'll re-watch it 100's of times. Reminds me of Burnquist's Backyard Progression in all the best ways!
He's got one of my favorite styles of skating. SO much power and flow with technical precision.
Thanks for the vert sonny.
Reminds us old timers what it's like to be young again.
i love the transitions between the tricks
Tom Schaar killing it like always. love the way he flows through bowls
This gives me heavy Danny Way DC Video vibes. Absolutely incredible. Insane...
Tom is on another level, the best part I've watched this year, and music was so good in between the two sections
man skating has changed so much from my day, unreal what these dudes are doing. its like breaking rules of physics
hands down one of the best parts I’ve seen 💪🏼 this guy kill it!! props homie
I was like "oh cool a padless Tom Schaar part"...but when I saw that megaramp i knew shit was about to go down.
This man is an animal. If that part doesn't make you wanna go out and skate, I don't know what will
holy shit i love this guys skating. fast, confident, and smooth.

Love the speed he hits it with
That switch shove was absolutely insane..
