@@jbean9021 exactly my point, baker 3 has always been my favorite video but spanky didn’t stand out in it to me… maybe just the skating around him putting him in the shadows, could of been him not fully developing into his style due to his age… whatever it may be tho seeing footage from him now is always a treat, he just looks like a smooth dude on and off his board now. so fuckin rad
@@TrZae My favorite part of his will always be this is skateboarding because I grew up on that but I agree, seems like that little break from being pro and getting his act straight made him find a new love for skateboarding and a new perspective on how he wanted to do it. I fully back it!

What made you want to show the kids this video?
Show kids that they can have other jobs. Like not every kid will be a doctor, police officer, fireman. Why not show them that they can film, skate, draw, make shoes, be creative.
You are obviously a great teacher. Thank you for spreading the love to skate.

Haha, that's insane. Reminds me of my 4th grade teacher playing Pink Floyd's Another Brick in the Wall Pt. 2 for us. I never listened to music before that, except for whatever they played at church. I found The Wall in my mom's old record collection and used to sneak it on when she was away, and it totally changed my perspective. Those kinds of positive Pied Piper influences can be so huge for kids, especially ones who are just lost, directionless and miserable like I was. Finding music and finding skating were the two biggest things for me, and both definitely saved my life. I hope someone found what they needed when you played this video for them; chances are someone did.

Easily one of the best and most fun teams to watch out there. Colin can seemingly do anything on a skateboard and he is so athletic. Really impressed with Figgy too, such good manual tricks and some incredibly gnarly rails thrown in for good measure. Rest of the guys contributed admirably as well. It was all such great tech tricks and gnarly tricks and both combined
