I have to look over the undercarriage, brakes, etc. I popped out the cover of the electrical wiring today and I am sure wondering how to start. Is 15 Quarts correct for the oil change ? I suggest looking into Temu. Very problematic company: stealing data, stealing images from artists to use on cheap products and many other issues. Howdy Dave, congrats on your Temu Gifts. I am hoping to soon be purchasing the 1989 Ford E 350/Wheeled Coach Retired Ambulance with a 7.3 IDI Diesel within the next few weeks. My first order of business is obviously replacing the Batteries, and getting it started. Then I will be doing a full Oil & Filter Change. What Oil do you recommend I get, and how much oil is needed to refill the Crank Case ? Also, what Oil Filter is needed, and will there be other filters that need changed while I am doing the Oil & Filter Change ? Thanks for the help, and advice in advance.

I did a Google and it says 10 quarts with a standard oil filter, or 11 quarts if using a motorcraft oil filter. Confirm this before doing the change because, again, I'm not 100% certain on the IDI engine.
Dude! Temu? Nah Aside from numerous issues with ordering from them like use of slave labor, taxes, etc. It's like their "fast fashion" items, it will all be in our landfills in a very short time. NGL I'm disappointed. 😞

15 quarts is correct, yes. I use Rotella T4 15w-40 and the 7.3 likes it. If you email me about your electrical system we can work on it.

I'd use Rotella T4 15w-40 and a oil Wix filter. You should get the fuel filter changed also, it may be old. Change the air filter also.

I'd also suggest adding injector cleaner to your fuel. Put 10 gallons of fresh diesel and 2 bottles of Standyne injector cleaner.@kevinswinyer3176
